feels like I'm walking into a high school dance! lol I see this in a movie where they are about to dance sorta in the middle of the song. I would suggest the singer parts to be be alittle more legato

I like the initial legato note that you had which signifys a different section of the song but it is very unpredictable after that it feels like the vocals and the beat are clashing as opposed to working together at that part

lol I dont think I can escape my roots. I was born in 89. As kids, I remember me and my brothers falling in love with mortal kombat. We used to get pumped up and start wrestling around and fighting with each other when the main song came on at the end of the movie lol. I think hear pretty soon we should start hearing more grunge come back into the scene but the dance music from then was super energetic. I admit its a little weak at the beginning. I use omnisphere as my vsti for synths and it has like 50 gigs worth of soundsources to pull from. This is an unfinished mix as you can tell so Im always glad when the looperman community gives me pointers. Thanks for the advice MichaelMayo !

I would have the snares in 2 and 4 as opposed to 1 and 3 also there isn't any real change so this will make the song boring my suggestion is to start with one thing and build on it. this is used in composition a lot to create tension. let me know if this helps! :)

It needs a little work but for some reason I like the way the vocal and guitar are together and I feel like if you took some of the chorus effect or separator effect off the vocals it would sound better but don't take it all off
