I am sure glad you commented on one of my tracks, it gives me the opportunity to seek out and play your tracks in return. And I am hugely impressed. This track is a banger, urban grit with rhythm. Cheers and I'll be checking out your back catalogue.
I like it, it's going somewhere, but not quite reached it yet. Needs a big synth line on top to pick it up at the second break with nice pacey hats and sharp snare to drive it along.
Dude if you want plays and people to listen and appreciate your talent you really should put it in a category where like minded people will listen and comment. Its just advice.
Liking this dude. Very nice just like the other guy said you need to review this on a few speaker types because it's over compressed to distortion. A tweak and you are in the zone. Good luck.
Rap not being my scene I was almost going to pass this over. But I'm glad I didn't. Great track. The rap is awesome, clear concise, lyrically intelligent, with a smooth flow. Backing track is snappy, sparse and just right. Interesting intro, and slick production. Super job.
Hi Basser,
I love the original track from 4Strings that this vocal is from. Tell us about your remix. Did you create this melody? or have you used sample blocks? have you heard the 4strings original? I do like your track, its interesting, mellow and crisp. But do tell us what you've done.
Hi, well this remix/remake i made from the scratch listening to the original song but still kept like its different from other remixes out there :) don't remember where my friend found the vocals but he did send them to me and started to work first on the pluck melody that comes in at the start. Then the pad and lead, no sampe packs or loops was used when i made it so, its just melodies i crated and effects then fitting the vocals in right place. :) nothing much really, glad if you like it :D
Hi jman. I can suggest a few ideas. Keep the main arp back for introduction at a slightly later part of the track. Start out with kick, snare, then bass, get a groove going then lead us into your main melody but don't give it all up so soon. Chop the main arp melody down into chunks & loop to tease us. But bring it in at the first major break, and defo get the real rhythm in earlier. finally introduce a new sound (strings or synth) that either lifts or toughens the melody.
Yeah, I think you're right. A more traditional intro would probably sound better. Don't want to burn the listener out on the melody before it really even gets going. Thanks!
Dude I apologise for the lack lustre response from the Looperman community, but perhaps its Jealousy or depression, but this deserves a thousand plays and 100's of comments. Professional. I hope to see you on the mega stage soon.
To be honest I actually forgot about my looperman account for several years. A lot of music I have on this site I've actually gotten to rework or remake. Thankfully I've started to perform at bigger events. Hopefully I can start to perform at big festivals next year as I now have a dedicated team to helping me strive for my dreams.
Hey, I have a youtube channel and if you'd like you can definitely check out my live performances. Thanks again for your comment and I apologize that this was a year late x)
I know the story..it goes like this....Ace of Bass 'All that she wants' midi file fell into your lap and hey presto you did a REMIX......Ta Da. How did I do?
Interesting..........but Would you like some analysis & production advice? Have a listen to one or two of my tracks and if you think my advice would be valid I'll help.
I like it. It sounds like a great trance track waiting to be finished. Perhaps it would benefit by turning down the gain, or whatever booster used to max out the waveform. The track will stand up by itself if the gain was set where clarity trumps distortion. And why does it end so abruptly?
Song wise all the elements are there, this is a great catchy little tune with clever construction but it lacks depth of sound, this is down to the instrument sounds. They sound dated and tinny. Some need replacing others need EQ and basic effects, but that is all of our stumbling blocks, so who am I to comment. But someone can provide those skill sets to you.
I like it. What program(DAW)did you use? Is it sample based? Needs some basic mastering, its a little muddy. I'm no expert either but i can hear it needs some refining. Good work tho.
Like it alot billy, you got something going on billy, listened to most of your tracks and all excellent just perhaps punched to hard on the volume, had to turn down my speakers. But great material.

I found the midi in a pack, so I used it.
The midi wasn't done well, so I decided to fix it up.
Well done.
