Nice unique track. Lots of classic oldschool elements here. Great groove when the full bass comes in at 2:13. The lead synth at 1:22 could use more layers and effects to best suit my taste as it sounds a bit too 80' for me.
Interesting mix of influences here. The sax sounds great with the sub-bass parts. I can't say im a huge fan of the percussion though. It's too glitchy for my taste.
thanks a lot man. agree with percussions needing improvements. this is a sketch so far cause I had only a little time for this. hope I will upload better version soon.
I appreciate your comment, Alex
Thanks bro. So an A+ already huh? Will I get a S ranking when I add the extra 3 minute half and other "many" edits? ha It's going to take some patience but will be worth it I think. Appreciate you checking this one out and leaving your thoughts, peace!
Very unique and great sounding percussion. Love the snaps and water droplet sounds. Nice bassline too. I would have liked an ambient/atmospheric pad to fill things out a bit more and add some more musicality though. Good EQing and mastering on this as well.
This is nice. Great deep house, summer vibe. Im in the middle of producing my first deep house track myself and this is a great example of the chilled out appeal im going for. Very nice.
We actually was going to go with harder kicks at first but decided to go with softer ones, as it fitted our vision a bit better. Thanks for the feedback, have a nice day!
Nice track, love your choice of vocal samples, definitely trippy. I would have liked to hear a sub bass to beef up the low end during the main sections though.
Does dub usually have a kick drum? I think a really solid kick would help give the listener a point of reference to feel the groove. Without it I tend to get a little lost. Still cool vibe though.
I thought it had more to do with bass than a kick - but right you are. The original was posted as "Jungle Dub" and upon reflection, this is more "jungle" than "dub" so I'm relabeling it. Thanks!
Nice track. I wouldn't mind a bit heavier trance-style vocal processing, more reverb and delay etc. Great progression and melodies throughout. Right now its got kindof a classic trance vibe to it. If your going for a more modern trance sound your lead synth could use some thickening up and or distortion / reverb.
Well, to be honest, I'm a noob in vocal processing so i have to learn so much things about how to do it to sounds better.
Anyway, thank you for tips for listening and for your kind comment mate. I'll keep your words in mind next time when I'll do anything in my production.
Cool techno track. I really love the section beginning at 1:22. There's a touch too much distortion on the synth that first come in at 0:27 for my taste, it just feels a touch too crunchy. Everything else is on point though. Nice.
the kick that begins your buildup at 0:15 is a beat too late. should be coming in right on the first beat of the 9th bar. Also with that sort of buildup people will be expecting a bassline and a kick drum to drop in at 0:30, not another drumless break. study dubstep track structures, listen to the pro's dubstep tracks, count out the beats and bars and where the drums come in, where the basses come in, etc. keep producing, your doing great for only being 13 years old.
Yea the kick is a little late, still working out the kinks, and not to like sound rude, or sound like i am bragging, but i understand dubstep structure. I was going for something out of the ordinary, maybe that made this track stand out. Kinda like Rusko, The sun is shining- Netsky remix. Idk. But thanks for commenting. I am always willing to take advice from more experienced producers.
