Hello SJ. Luv the use of the vocal here...works well with the mellow music. Play around with a fast attack/release compressor on vocals (start with 2ms attack/285ms release and -20db threshold, use an 8:1 ratio and maybe a 10db knee-See what you hear). Would luv to hear the guitar as soon as the first string is plucked in the intro vs fading in (just me). Lot of dynamics here. This should sound nice and crisp with proper EQ-ing, compression and a decent mastering effort. Good job.

Hi there StylesMusic1!
That's some really detailed advice about the vocal and the other stuff - I'm deffo going to try that if I manege to follow your instructions (good instructions by the way but I'm still such a noob at this mixing stuff).
Thanks a lot!
Hello guys...this is awesome! Love the live sound, the rhythm the use of the acapellas, the levels, reverb...everything. To all of you...fabulous work.
Killer track. Smokin Joe Coleman did his thing on lead too. Kyle Monroe' vocals seemed offset with the beat or perhaps my ears were listening too slow. Either way Killer track. Great job!
Hey TD had stop by and see what you were doing over here. I was digging this one from the jump. Something tells me you have a powerful voice in the mid-range area but you're holding back. Not sure what mic u're using to record with but it doesn't sound like it's capturing your high freq's unless u rolled off most of it above 5khz during mixing. The Music track had nice highs but your voice was lacking the presence it deserves. I love workn w/vocals so contact me if u wanna know more. stylesmusic1@yahoo.com
Styles, man I appreciate the offer and I promise I will follow up on it, but this particular track is just me singing into my laptop, no external mic, and it seems to have captured my voice better than all the other tracks I have posted.
Great job on this tune Mickey. Your riffs worked very well and of course matching the wonderful vocals by Farisha was sweet. Had to see what you did with these vox as I am currently polishing a re-worked track using these vox as well...lovely piano. Great job!
Thanks for your words, l enjoyed working on this track. it was a challenge trying to sync Farisha vocals to the music. let me know when you have put your track up.. would love to hear it. take care Mickey
Im with Spivkurl on all the plays n no comments...a quote from the old skool says it best "It's Like That". Great job on this one...super phat drum trak. Crisp cyms and a varied snare all good. Nice production work.
Have to dido the other comments. Good flow, nice synths, really like those crispy cyms. Nice kick drum bumpn in the back. Good job. Now who's gonna put some hot lyrics on this one?
Very nice grooves in this. Nice vocals Janis. I've actually used some of your acapella snippets but have yet to post the track. You and Paul really did a great job on this...nice guitars and production. I really like it.
Good job on this one BlueDj. Not sure its truly house tho, kinda feels more like an electronic trak. That's one heavy kick drum (808?) bangn in there too. I felt like I was on a journey inside this trak. Nice job.
Nice instrumental. Has a familiar Euro sound to it. I wasn't ready for the end with laughter...was expecting some build up to some nice vocals or drastic change in rhythm.
Im glad you like it StylesMusic1 , yeah i know what you mean :D I wasnt ready either but my mind was just stuck and i didnt have any idea how i can continue it....But the next one i will work bit more on it....Greatings from Greece :)
Byrdsong this track has huge potential. I thought I was listening to some Maxwell when the track started. As you noted the vocal quality is rough but it gives a certain realness that works with the track (I like it). I can help you polish this one if you like. As for the vocals I would need to hear them soloed and work from there, right now you seem to have picked up ambience in the room where u recorded it. I really like this track.
Styles, thanks man. It's taken me a while to get back in touch with you. I'm recovering from some surgeries due to my time in the war and have been laid up for a while. I would love to work with you in order to bring the attention to this track that I think It deserves. I'm sure that with your help we can accomplish just that.
Nice smooth sounds u have flowing in this one Ploesch. Man Patricia' vocals blend so well in this. Truly nice work here. Looks like u just joined (or signed back up) the Loop Fam-so welcome aboard n hope to hear more from you.
Nice beat u have here Chris. I think it flows well w/Minor2go. Any plans on addn any vox, other instruments etc? The right vox might really make this one pop. Nice job! thx for sharing
Great use of the pella. I didnt see any major issues while watching this play thru my analyzer. The bass is dead on also. This is an awesome track thus far. Im hoping to work with Nacole on a project soon. Great job!

Yeah like most b4 me said, this is sick, dope...a really great mix. This is that flavor we need more of in hip-hop. Protege you on your way dude. I worked with The Philosofist b4 on a cpl tracks and he always doing it up big. Everyone did a great job here.
Mos Def a hot one. I love the old skool rub. This is nice mane. You killin me with the short sample stabs. Keep it up. Cant wait to hear what the Loop fam do with this. Def a fav 4 me.
Cool project...dare I even say Fusion project. Either way the genre matters not...u're making music...priority #1. Awesome drum track, smooth synths, melodic flow. Good job!
I have to dido whats been said already, ends to soon, brings a bit of fantasy and abrupt chaos for me. I like it. U really got talent with this area of music.
i appreciate the encouraging words. next step on this puppy is to refine and take down intensity of the groove. start coloring the background a bit more. so i'm on it - and thanks for the encouraging push. peace. midisparks
dude this is really nice. I love that bass line. I like the way voxs are edited as well. This track is ready for the clubs. Paix!
Dude c'est vraiment agrÃÂable. J'adore cette ligne de basse. J'aime la façon dont les voix est ainsi modifiÃÂs. Cette piste est prête pour les clubs. Je ne parle pas français, je viens d'utiliser un traducteur. Paix
Nice trak Brutish. The trumpet...really nice touch, gives the project a jazzy spin. Voxs...sweet. Would luv to hear the completed & mastered trak, so Im fav'n this so I can look out for it and hopefully get a download.
