Those are the best, tracks that didn't work and suddenly it al fits. And it does! Great build up to the last part, like the stuff you did round 2m but mayby to save it for the last part?
Anyway cant wait till I here rest....
hey thanks man, glad you like it... I tried to put that studder build after the last part but it didn't really flow right so I just left it where it was...
Thanks for the words, I think I'm pretty much done with it.
Bang!! Starts of without wasting time on a intro. Nice beat with a perfected distortions, time to mount the camels again! Will be using this beat as inspiration and example.
I like the highpitched synth but was hoping you would play with the its length. Just to let it glide between the other, more static sounds, to create movement.
Love your style & sound you've created, your attention towards the details is growing with eatch project.
With all the melodies you used so far in your tracks, I wander about a track without drums. I'm curious in how you let that evolve without the structure (or borders)that a drumtrack provides.
That could be a pretty interesting challenge. Trying to make a track without drums would be difficult, but I reckon I could give it a try.
My track"the speed of a thought" does have drums in it, it does start off with a long, evolving synth only intro, which may satisfy your curiosity. But drums are an essential part of most of the songs I make, and I normally do the drums before anything else.
Beatifull peace of music. Really comes to life here 3am in the morning. There are 2 moments in the song where unexpeted a synth plays a short note, is that on purpose and if so what does it represents?
im going to need a bit more context to know exactly what you speak of (so i can tell you what it represents). but nothing in there should be there unless i want it to be.
One thing that I admire about artists that create these soundscapes, is how you manage to keep them this long without really big changes. Time to explore that place, find all those little nuances.
How many times I've trieded it... but I can't do that.
Thankyou for taking the time to listen to and review my track I am glad you enjoyed the music - sorry I have taken so long to reply but I have not had much time for the site or music lately.
Thanks Again

Love this one, sounds and feels like ancient times.
Weird thing about your tracks is that they either hit me or they do nothing.
After reading your how-I-did-it I started slowing down some tracks that I got stuck with. My whole experience changed, surprisingly they sounded a lot better.
Wonderfull days!! Brings back memories to 90's when happy hardcore was big in holland.
I like your bass and the melody offcourse! And the way you arranged al the parts, makes it interresting. Just like ELSD i feel it needs a little more to finish it, some accomdating pads or an added synth thats 1 octave higher. I dont like the acapella you choose but that's taste.
thanx mate i like it wen people tell me the truth about my tracks thanx mate pads hay thats wat i was thinkin might concentrate on that tonight thanx again if u find a acapella or pads that will go good plz tell me and ill try and use it thanx again i recon a 32BT pad would go nice
I'll at this to my favourites and use this is one of my examples to learn from. This is a basic idea of what I want in a song and vocals.
I like how your structure, choosen samples and the colour you gave them, really feels like trailers you'll see at the movietheater. All those question ask by that deep dark voice really fit image.
Did you plan this or did it just happen?
all samples and lyrics are his, the rest is mine. its obvious hes done quite a good job. i planned the general ideas, johnny took it from there. thanks for listening
Thanks for your review, i totally apologize for not replying till now, i was looking at my profile and noticed i did not respond to you. Much appreciated, and thanks again.
It does sound like the kind of beat yo play at 4 in the morning smoking the last one. It all fits perfect, i really dont miss the base. It just needs a vocal
The overal mix of your track is allmost right. Maybe some compression on your bass so it becomes a bit more steady and give some room to the claps who are now far to thin.
I agree with chud about the structure
Wandering what your plans are with this track 'cause it feels finished. Having said that suddenly the synth stops playing leaving a gap behind.
Feels like there is more to this song then just this version, it could be a deep dark ambient track with a choir or some (Like Era). It also could be an (hard)trance track and proberbly a lot in between
My plan is to actually reduce the number of breakdowns, think of more changing melodies than the continuos piano melody.
But yeah, it could have a choir in it, complicated chords are something I live for, and I think I could get a 12 note chord in here. Hard trance, I could easily get.
What I may actually do is recycle this track, start over, keep the melody, but change a lot of the sounds, except for the piano.
FDV, I posted a second song that has the same boolean sequence but percussive operation of the Karplus Strong circuits. The two can be mixed together to create a song with two drum and two guitar voices. Hope that helps.
Sorry a bad translation of a dutch saying. It means as much as making something good, perfect. 'Give it the finishing touch' or 'Take it to the next level' is a better translation
What I mean is that this track has the potential to be great, but it doesn't deliver yet. The main reason is your arrangement and the way you've build the tension in the track. It feels a bid like a plane that doens't get of the ground.
