Good evening, Mom! Whos the lucky one? You havent told me anything about him yet! Smile Lovely song! So, the feelings are working out after all! Im happy for you. Lots of love, your little one.
Hi little one.
No!!! this song is not about me lol.
I have no one to sing something like this for.
And there will never come one because ....you know.......i will stay the rest of my life with me myself and i .
But thanks for your compliment.
I thought also that i didd''nt it not to bad for a woman in my situation lol.
Hello, the track is solid overall, with a driving and inviting rhythm, leaning slightly towards trance. However, in my opinion, the song could use a few adjustments in the mastering. I think with a bit of fine-tuning, there's more potential to be unlocked. Right now, everything seems to be happening too close to the center. The soundstage is vast, and you have all that space to work with, so why not use it to its full potential? But you're still ahead of the release, so make the most of the time you have! That being said, great work so far.
Best regards, Manuela
I have made small revisions that you may not be aware of. The transition around 0:44 is a little smoother. The Celli around 1:50 was replaced with a flute.
Hello and warm greetings to our neighboring country. What a fantastic listening experience! This is a techno track straight out of the textbook, perfect for dancing. The instrumentation is incredibly well done, with the typical breaks that define this genre. Great beat, excellent use of instruments and effects. I read that you do this just for fun without any commercial intentions. I love that!
Best regards,
Manuela
Hello my friend, you've already got it right. The highs and mids are very dominant, while the basses hardly make the most of their spectrum. The mix itselfmeaning the temporal and spatial arrangement of the individual instrumentsis fine. The melody and arrangement are good. The song creates an uplifting mood. Lovely. However, the fine-tuning, the work with frequencies, is not balanced. I always say that the mix is like the musicians on stage, while the master is the light show. In other words, it's a beautiful song that just needs a bit more polish. Invest a little more work and time into the master. It will be worth it!
Best regards, Manuela
Hello Robin, I am already very impressed just by the intro! The following melody, which weaves through the song like a silky thread and lies in a wonderful musical bed, is excellently lovely. You have also shown great finesse in the use of bass and drums. Ending the song, just like the beginning, with a piano interlude was a wonderful idea. For me, this song, which is also excellently mixed and mastered, is a favorite from your current creative phase.
Best regards,
Manuela
Thanks for the great review its pleasing to read those words so thank you for the comment and listen oh and fav they are much appreciated i will catch up on your new one soon :)
Hello Aaron,
I finally had the time and peace of mind to listen to your work. I'm calling it a work because the term song in no way can describe or encompass this musical performance. As always, your creativity stems from a dark origin; the base rhythm is stubbornly set and never deviates from its temporal basic structure. Youve also incorporated some beautiful rock elements, or rather built them in. The female voice doesnt lead the listener into a depressive phase but, through its clarity, brings a glimmer of hope. By the way, it sounds very familiar to me *smile.
I dont know the idea behind this creation. However, I cant imagine that you intended to evoke hopeful feelings with this music. I think its rather destructively designed and oriented more towards an apocalypse. As Jesus says in the Gospel of Luke, There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars, the sea will roar, and the powers of heaven will be shaken. Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die! Its a pity, really, because one somehow always hopes for a happy endingat least in my life philosophy.
Best regards, Manuela
Hello Manuela, Im glad u got a chance to listen to some music today. Its ironic that u mention the darker vibe that I tend to use in alot of my music, because today Jared and I were brainstorming ideas for some future projects, and we laid out some general blueprints - and part of what we discussed was kind of a flipside to what the Monzder Squadd is, and that is going to be our next project. It will be just me & Jared as a duo, smaller in scope to the our current work, quite a bit brighter and more hopeful overall is the vibe we're going to aim for. The Monzder Squadd became pretty visceral and raw, the lyrics about pain and struggle, while the next will be about the peace that is found when one overcomes those struggles, and also about fatherhood, as Jared has 2 little girls, my nieces, and his pride and joy. Im hoping he'll warm up to the idea of singing a little bit for a track or 2, as i know that he can, and i have software that would make just about anyone sound that much better. We will see, though. I hope this intrigues u a little bit, lol. I do have some songs that are quite different than my usual work, such as the songs Ive made for Britt over the years - they deserve another run in the spotlight, too, i think. Thank u for ur time and thoughtful words, as always. A comment from u always makes me happy :) - Aaron
Hello, Great song! The arrangement perfectly captures the monotony of a typical workday. The mix and mastering are flawless, and the female voice (who is the singer?) was an excellent choice. The song also features some fantastic rock elements. Really well done!
Best regards,
Manuela
Hi, very interesting and well-done work. I like the acoustic guitar. The mix is good and balanced. Around 1:51, there is a slight vocal distortion. Otherwise, clean work. Best regards, Manuela
Hi, I'm not quite happy with the lead guitar yet, the simple loop just doesn't offer enough. I should have waited. I'm working with a guitarist friend on a much better version, I promise! Cool melody, arpeggios, and a tasty solo over the empty end. The distorted voice was actually intentional, it's a kind of doubler effect (unfortunately lo-fi quality), but I like playing with it. But maybe I'll leave it out after all(?) So, wait for an upgrade ;-)
Well, I always love to dance! With this rhythm, I cant help but show off my world-famous hip swing to everyone around me. *Smile. Seriously though, its a fantastic song that really gets you moving. Yes, it also brings back memories of my wild and glorious days. Although my early commitment and pregnancy meant they werent as pronounced as they might have been for others, they are still wonderful memories that your song has triggered for me. I think the three of you have a great, fruitful collaboration going on. Keep it up. Best regards, Manuela
Know where you are coming from there - I had my first child at 21 : ) I remember being the last person to leave a club and having chips in a basket halfway thru the night! Thank you so much for your lovely feedback Kay
I just read your conversation with Paul. When youre involved in music and present your work publicly, insecurity is a constant companion. This is true for me as well. Our expression is the musical creativity that we hope will be understood and appreciated by the listener. For me, its less about myself and more about the song that we have created with much effort, love, and dedication. Each song contains a part of me that I offer to the public. Naturally, theres always some uncertainty about whether this part of me will be liked and loved. This is something almost all of us here experience, and I think you do too. So, see this insecurity as a part of yourself and take joy in the reactions of your friends and companions. You have made such a positive development that you no longer need the help of others. You can be an equal partner to each of us.
Hi little one.
Thanks for this comment and I understand what you mean.
And of course it's very nice if I could think like that, but somehow I still see myself as a starter or something.
There's so much freaking good music here on LM
And then I think...hear my beats now.
that's nothing compared to their music. Then the compliments help me feel a little more confident, you know?
And on the other hand, I am also proud for a layman who has never had anything to do with music or singing and which I have now taught myself in 4 years without any help.
And there are still things in my daw that I don't know how to use so I still have a lot to learn.
Hello Anthony, once again, youve presented us with a wonderful composition. The melody is beautiful and catchy, supported by excellently positioned instruments. Simply lovely!
You mentioned to Paul that youd like to work with loops. Why? I believe your work is so authentic and good that, in my opinion, it would be a step back in the quality of your creations. Stay as you are; it suits you best. Best regards,
Manuela
Hello Manuela
It is of course a great pleasure to know you liked my work. It is a great pleasure to know it sounded authentic to you, I really love to consider my music making a way to express so many things, so many thoughts and I really enjoy these positive opinions. Please do not laugh, it is like giving a piece of chocolate to a child....real joy. Thank you for your friendly approach and for your inspirational comments
My best regards, Anthony
Hi Leo, I am thrilled with how you managed to integrate my voice so wonderfully into your song. I am very impressed with the drive, the well-placed instruments, and effects. For me, this song is an absolute favorite! It turned out really well. The mix and master are excellent. Thank you for uploading it here as well. The acapellas we publish on LM are our way of saying thank you to the community. Once again, my highest praise to you. Best regards, Manuela
Hey Manuela ,thx for nice words, most hard and same time most interesting part is make something new , I truly happy to hear that from you cos first time I listen your acapella I say oh man such difficult vocal to me )
Hello you three, hats off, this is by far the best song I've heard from you since your collaboration! Great song with good vocal and speech inserts. Kay fits wonderfully with Paul and forms a perfect acoustic counterpoint. The mix and the mastering are good and balanced. Opinions may differ on the distortion effect on the voice, but that's a matter of taste. Great music, great lyrics, balanced vocalswhat more could you want! Best regards, Manuela.
Manuela thanks for your listen and comment, we all appreciate your input as you know, i know im a lucky guy and get the option to work with loads of great artists of which you are obviously included too, i never expected to come as far as i have and i always put it down to the individuals i work with, i can be me and i just have great faith in all my colleagues to be them and be truthful, both Oli and Kay are exactly that just like you, people i trust admire and respect we all appreciate you and your time thank you form us all for your a superstar :)
Hallo Jens, sehr schoener Song, den du da mit meiner Stimme erschaffen hast. Gefaellt mir sehr gut!
Hello Darren, I also had a lot of fun listening! Nice! I can imagine a whole song in this style. May I use it as an idea for my own song? I would be happy!
Best regards, Manuela
Hello, when I was 12 years old, the age I was when the song was created, I never thought about a career in music. Like other girls my age, I was just going through a difficult, rebellious phase. At least, thats what I think. Ill ask my mom about it tomorrow *Smile. But this shows how timeless music can be. I tip my hat to you and the other old hands here who have stayed true to themselves and their music for so many years, enriching the music scene with their vast experience and passion. Thank you for that!
Best regards,
Manuela
So in the year when you were born, is when I came up with that chord structure at the age of 16. That was the first time I was able to use modern decent equipment to make that work in a way I wasn't disgusted with. I will say that I evolved quite a bit after I had a work colleague tell me to stop making pop drivel, and handed me a Casette of Underground NYC house music. I was floored at the simplicity, complexity, and minimalism of it. It took a few years to understand ho and when to build a dance track that people would resonate with. Thank you for listening!
Once again, you've created a song of very high quality. While the lyrical content might be debatable, it doesn't have to be, as people can simply have different opinions. The music is truly excellent. Do you have any songs without this slightly missionary undertone? *Smile. Please don't be offended by this expression, but that's just how I am. I mean, I can understand if someone is religious and wants to share their beliefs with the world. But are there really no other topics for you? Humanity is currently destroying itself and the planet. I can't believe this is a test from God and that the solution to these problems lies in reverence for Him. Therefore, I also have my doubts about His mercy. I believe that an appeal to human reason to stop the madness is more important and effective! We all need to change, to ensure that wars, violence, hunger, environmental sins, etc., finally come to an end. If we ourselves are not merciful, we will soon have no opportunity to honor a God.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback and kind words about the music! I really appreciate the time youve taken to share your perspective. Its always great to hear different viewpoints on the lyrics, and I understand where youre coming from. Music can be such a personal experience, and I respect your interpretation.
Most of the songs that carry themes like you mentioned are from my older rap days, and to be honest, those tracks were pretty rawlots of anger, vulgarity, and dark, rebellious energy haha. I'll dig them up someday and share them with you so you can see a different side of me!
A little backstoryI worked as a Search and Rescue officer from 2014 and headed some Internally Displaced Camps between 2015 and 2019. Those years were intense, and my experiences in those environments definitely shaped a lot of what I write about. You get to see the world from a very raw, unfiltered angle in those situations, and it really pushed me to talk about the issues that affect peopleespecially the most vulnerable. Its a long story, but yeah, my past experiences and upbringing have led me to where I am today. Ive often found myself feeling like just one person trying to make sense of whats wrong in the world and wishing I could do something to help. But sometimes, you know, it can take its toll. Its a complicated journey, and Im still navigating it.
As for the missionary undertoneI completely get what you mean. Its never my goal to push any particular agenda; I just want to express ideas that resonate with people on different levels. But I agree with you that we need to address the real, urgent issues facing humanitywhether its environmental destruction, social injustice, or the countless other challenges we face. These are things that definitely weigh on my mind, and I believe collective action is key to bringing about change.
Regarding other topics, absolutely! Ive written songs on themes of human reason, hope, and the power of change, and Id love to share some of those with you soon. Art, for me, is often about opening doors to new ways of thinking, so I definitely have more to offer in that regard.
Thank you again for your honesty and for the thoughtful conversation. No need to apologize for your perspectiveit's important to talk about these things, and I really value your insights.
