Hello, this is really a beautiful, mood-lifting song. The structure of the song is very well done. The singer has a wonderful voice and the instrumentation is restrained and not overloaded, which gives the song a pleasant flair. However, the mix and mastering still have room for improvement. There is a slightly cloudy effect over the whole song. As if a defective microphone or an unsuitable effects device was used. It seems as if something didn't go quite right during the mixing or mastering. There is still room for improvement here. Otherwise it is a good song. Best wishes, Manuela

Hello Paul, Congratulations on the text! I really like it. Your vocal presentation was also well done. There are a few minor weaknesses in the mix and mastering, but overall, its well done.

Hello, the song is very nice with a great voice, but at 3:06, the volume seems a bit too high. Apart from that, it's flawless work, through the ending would be less abrupt. Best regards, Manuela.

Manuela you can use fat processed or Marrow Fat peas and boil them down add sajlt and pepper and mushy them down we just buy a tin of Bachelors, in the UK its easier and quicker, and they are fire anyway, if you ever come UK i will treat you to a fish and chips mushy pea dinner at a seaside resort like Whitby, fish was swimming in the morning we use lard not cooking oil, in the northeast, next level, crabs whelks cockles longastine pilchards, muscles winkles we use to go get our own from the sea and rock pools and and i would have to take you to Redcar for a Lemon Top, i was born 10 mins from the coast

on Darkside Remix - Pnnywze by Pnnywze
Hello Aaron,
As you know, rap is not my preferred music genre either. So, I can only judge the quality of this almost gloomy song. It is well-known that you are a master of bass construction, and you have certainly lived up to your name with this song. Perfect! Your integration of the singer was also very well done. I find that you have produced a very interesting and varied song. I know you are a visionary who lives through your music. You always find a good way to transform your feelings, perhaps even your thoughts, through your performances. This makes you a special person.
Best regards, Manuela

Wel, Im blushing hard rn lol. You always have the most kind and thoughtful words. This is something I threw together to kind of test the beat out for my group project, but the vibe that is coming together is leaning away from the straight trap-style beats Im mostly known for. Alot of guitar, and with focus on the versatility of the vocalists. Im not sure what to even call the music we're putting together....Industrial Trap sounds the closest, but even that is too basic a description. Ill have more stuff from that project ready to share soon. After The Monzderr Squadd , Ill be producing an EP for my brother's solo debut. Im suddenly extremely busy lol. but u know exactly how that is. Thanks for your support, Manuela. It means too much for words to explain. - Aaron

Hi Antony, I normally use the ATH M70x, a closed studio headphone. I usually get along better with it than with open headphones. Since no one else can hear it, it must be my ears *smile*. But again, the song is excellent! Best wishes, Manuela

Hello Manuela,
I am sure you have spotted some clipping, so I try to be more cautious with the mastering tools. Actually I am working on a beautiful guitar loop from LM, I mean I am trying to make a song out of it and I have already recruited the Steinberg limiter to help me avoid clipping. It is my way of doing things...I am driven by the sounds, most of my songs are made because some sounds motivated me. It is not always a melody on the piano, it is more probable a chord progression and sounds. This is where mistakes happen. But, I am very content you liked it as a song.
Thank you again for your thoughtful comments
Wish you the best, Anthony.

on Oh Yeah by AnthonyAttard
Hi Anthony,
Well, this song is certainly different from your other songs that I know. I really like the persistent, almost stubborn, dragging bass and drum drive. It was also a good idea to gradually increase the volume of a second instrument in the intro sequence with a panning effect. The structure of the song is good overall, and the hinted vocals add a nice touch. So far, great work, which I also really like.
What I dont like as much is the slight clipping in the song. I think you probably intended this subtle distortion, but while listening, I felt like my headphone membranes were about to give out. I actually had to listen to a reference song to make sure that wasnt the case.

All in all, a good song.

Best regards, Manuela

Hello Manuela
I did try not to have clipping and distortion, and I was satisfied on my headphones. I use a pair of Sennheisers (hd 300 pro), which have a descent sound. There may be a slightly distorted last note of the synth on the left channel around 2:59, but not something else I could hear. At what amount of volume do you regularly listen to music, is it below or over 70% ? I do believe though it clipped to your headphones and I suspect it is because of my recent attempt of mastering the song. It is an older song of mine, kept as a .wav file, unmastered. It is such a delicate equilibrium that of a successfully mastered song and a spoiled one. I really am glad you liked the song and as you say, smile.
Best wishes, Anthony.

Hello, another example of how collaboration can work! I think the song speaks for itself. Great work! By the way, look at my title, only 4 letters. It works. The trick: a space after the word and then a hyphen. This way you can also create short titles. Best wishes, Manuela

Hello Richard, although I don't go to church and don't believe in the "ground staff", there are many things in life that I am grateful for. I don't need hymns for that. However, I do believe that songs like yours are necessary to promote a sense of togetherness among all people. If a song helps to prevent or at least reduce aggression, contempt for humanity and the pursuit of power, then it has achieved something great.
Stay healthy, Manuela

Thank you for your thoughtful message. I appreciate your perspective on gratitude and togetherness. Music connects us and fosters understanding, and I hope my songs contribute to a more harmonious world. The last time I was in a church was on April 7, 2020, and I had left the church from 1997 to 2012. I discovered the Lord outside the church, which is why my songs dont align with current church and world standards. I have nothing against the church or anyone's beliefs. Together, we can make the world a better place, as those with light within them strive for a harmonious, peace-loving world. Some of us have encountered the only being who can make that happen.

Hi Mark,
Its been over a year since I first heard your song, and it remains an unparalleled auditory experience to enjoy this excellent production. Although I cant quite remember how the song originally sounded, the current version showcases the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail you put into your productions. Each instrument stands out clearly without overwhelming the others. The mix is stylistically flawless, with the bass being distinct and appropriate. Everything comes together harmoniously. Fantastic!

Thanks for listening and taking time to drop the comment. The series I'm referring to is based on JRR Tolkiens the "Silmarillion"which is the precursor to the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Its basically the introduction of evil in Middle Earth and the backstory about the Dark Lord Sauron. I'm glad you like the track, I'm hoping to be able to work up a few more soon.

Hello Anthony,

This is excellent! Around 1:58, I thought Mike Oldfield was coming towards me, smile. What stands out to me is that youve created an interesting spatial distribution in the stereo width with the mix, where the staccato on one side almost creates a higher dynamic. This is especially noticeable towards the end. Great! I think the song doesnt need any other or larger orchestration. Its good as it is.

Best regards and have a lovely Sunday, Manuela

Hello Manuela,
I wish a happy Sunday to you too.
I am so glad you liked the song. It is always a need to understand the way other creators listen to my music. You are "special" listeners, more experienced in music and sound matters, so somehow more accurate. I do understand it is a kind approach, and I have to thank every commenter for this.
I will soon visit to listen to more of your works.
Best wishes, Anthony.

Hello Chris, the song is flawless in terms of both quality and structure. The instruments and vocals are clear and distinct. The arrangement of the instruments is excellent and the guitar touches me deeply. Phew, it's probably better that you're so far away and I'm in good hands. *smile.
Best wishes, Manuela.

Oh yes, great song!
(One more small thing, you know me as an ending fetishist *smile, who pays attention to endings, the ending seems a bit abrupt. Couldn't the last chord have been allowed to fade out?)

Everyone likes a happy ending lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The structure is quite loose but it is there. I also mucked around a bit with adding some more sounds etc. but in the end just didn't think I was adding anything it needed. As for ending, yes you are probably right. I did rush the ending somewhat. I will probably fix that up at some point, along with checking out the high frequency thing Doudei noted. But unfortunately it's a Sunday and I have reports to write:( Hope you have a great day/night. Chris

on Summer waltz by DarrenHirst
Well, wonderful! I think it was about time someone on LM took on this kind of music. Jumping straight into a 3/4 time signature is quite something! I know from experience how challenging it is to work in waltz time. Its all the more delightful that youve managed to create such wonderfully lively music. However, you should continue to work on the song. It lacks a bit of depth, which could be beautifully achieved by incorporating, for example, a cello. You could also extend the musical arc and construct a grand finale by expanding the orchestra with brass instruments, etc. So keep going, its worth it! You have the right sensitivity because you seem to truly create what sounds good and dont get confused by scores.

Kudos to you!

Best regards,
Manuela

I wanted to play an instrument at school but my teachers said no. I ended up creating melodies in my mind.
When I hear a loop from Looperman a melody just pop in my head to go with the loop.
I'll hear a melody in my mind I then put it down in FL studio that's how I can up with the waltz.
I will recreate the waltz and add other instruments like people have suggested.
I'm a noobie I can't read music or write music and music theory it might as well be rocket science.
I know what sounds good to me I've aways loved music since I was five. I've listened to every type of music going.
I love musicals I adore them especially Carousel. I listen to them and how they start and they they don't get boring.
My mom used to say when I was five I'd be humming music or singing songs.
I will recreate the waltz and add a lot more instruments. I'm also listening to Mozart to see if I can make a small tune like him.
Thank you for your reply. You also have a fantastic voice and your sister too.
All the best.
