Sup meph! Pretty dope track Definitely has a chill vibe!
Okay, so the 1st build has more energy than the 1st drop/chorus. I think the vocal is really good and I think it is getting smothered in the song by everything else going on I would take parts out and focus more on mixing the vocals perfectly so they can control the energy and emotion and then add just enough elements to support the building of the vocals natural energy (as it stands right now the vocal is fighting certain synths for space in almost all the builds).
some fills, breaks or turn arounds on the 2,4,8,16 bar will help keep things fresh during the drop
Saturation would help overall with the thin feeling from the track.

Pretty dope track I think it just needs some touchups is all
This is a cool start to a track I feel like it has all the oppurtunity to become a really good track too. I think its just missing some things that would help it get to the next level.
I would push the guitar out to the sides of the track and widen it up a lot using reverb and saturation. then I would scoop some parts out of the guitar so that the synth can sit inside the guitar better.
You use ableton so something I would try is to create 2 return tracks and then put a large more stereo reverb on one and then a smaller more mono reverb on the other and then use the sends to give everything in the song a little more space to breath.
The melody also kinda goes on forever without any changes except in pitch (That can work sometimes but I think for this song you could change it up more uniquely) if its a loop you are working with then you should turn it into midi and if you wrote the midi then you should just add a couple of fills or breaks or turnarounds at the 4,8,16 bar (something to tell the listener that change is coming even if the change is it going back and starting over).
For the intro I would think about low passing the melody in slowly and adding a small background tonal or whitenoise riser this will help your track build energy more smoothly
I think the drum build needs some work as well Maybe even wait to bring the kick drum in untill the actual chorus/drop the kick drum is a massive amount of the energy in this track so bringing it in early takes away from people connecting with the melody and the guitar before the dancing really starts.
The half tempo breaks are fucking sweet I like the switch up a lot!
also You could use a lot more saturation in your mixes there very dark
This is a really good start tho just needs some more time spent on it.
Wow thank you so much for the amazing review! I did write everything except the melody which is a loop. I will put everything you said to good use! Thank you :D!
I like the song a lot its actually really good. in saying that the vocals are mixed in a way that I feel take away from the overall sound and flavor of the song. I think that the vocal spread left and right and are different pitches should either only come in during the end of the bar to bring in emphasis and also a signal of change or turn them down some and apply a center focused reverb on them so they contribute to the energy of the middle vocal that way they become more apart of the mix and less overtaking all that awesome beat. I think the middle vocal could be set a little deeper in the mix your really good at rapping so you dont really need to boost the vocals so much cuz you are very understandable I would bring it down just a little maybe like 2-4 db besides thoes things tho its a dope track worth listening to multiple times!
Hey! This Track is pretty sick Its well put together I think most of the issues I have with it are in the mix itself.
Drums are too loud you could try using saturation instead of pumping the volume or a compressor that will give you more clarity in the top end of the drums without overboosting things in the earlier stages cuz the limiter can clip them really hard.
The vocals could have more clarity to them I feel like there smothered in the mix I would definitly eq out some of the synth were the vocal also sits (or respectivily you could try boosting the 8-10k and 800-1.5k range and that could help too) It doesnt really need a lot too pop out I think like a couple DB each would do the trick.
compositionally i would get rid of the melody at some point during the song I think it would bring a lot more dynamic energy. Maybe as a turn around take it out too emphasise the last words that are getting said in the song or even right before the beat comes in take it out or have it scratch out or reverb out or something too offer change before it comes back around Maybe at the begining have it come in really quitely low pass it maybe? it just goes on for the whole song and I think it would become less boring if some more work was done on the synth cuz the rest of the song is dope the synth just needs more work at certain parts of the composition. Besides that I like the song a lot I listened to it like 10 times.
