Was getting into it before the vocals came in. Drums sound tight. Weird vibe ghostly horror sound track. The precision with the guitar effects combined with the playing is really good. I guess it's some types of modulation combined? The track is put together well. It's a well constructed piece of music, but I didn't relax to it. It freaked me out!
I like the descending sax? sounds. A very atmospheric peice. Reminds me of an interlude track on an album before something much heavier kicks in, like on Corrosion Of Conformities Deliverence record. Well produced, nice one.
The gated synth works well though the intro and at other parts. Drums come in nice and the dub type bass suits the song. Nice effect when the drums stop and the altered vox comes in.In my opinion, the actual raining sound what sound better sat further back in the mix and maybe not panned both left and right? Chill out atmospheric voice on this song which suits the song excellently. Enjoyed listening to this track.
You would have the finality of a good technician? Your comment seems to prove it at least because it is very detailed and thank you... A way forward positively, it's certain, and I thank you for your appreciation ....
Firstly I appreciate that you've used the acapella and have got back to me. I think that the actual tune is really good and the little snippets of vocals sound cool, although the main parts are out of time with the tune and may not fit the tune even if in time. However the tune like I said is good and the production is really great, much better than I am capable of doing myself at this stage.
Which leads me to saying that this is only one verse, I do actually have another verse and a chorus and could if need be add more. As the tune is at the moment I have absolutely no problem with the music and think that it's fantastic production skills, but ideally I would love to re - record the vocals (dry for you to process) and we could have a proper decent club track. Please let me know what you think.
I'm glad you like it. As i said this is one of my first track i am using acapella. Usually I prefer progresiive house without vocals, and this is new and very challenging experience for me.
You have a nice voice and i would like to finish the track with the rest of your song. You should re-record the vox so I do not have to repeat the same verse. It would be nice to keep the recording in wav format, not mp3. Try to make another mp3 version with some 8 bar drum loop in the background just to make sure what you mean. send me on e-mail via yousendit.I would like to have lyrics too.
Love it!!! Arpeggio rhythms and synth sounds are great, wicked filter sweeps and great arrangement and timing. The only let down for me is that crash cymbal.
Hi mate thanks for review, unfortunately the track is on the hard drive of another computer that no longer felt loved or wanted and decided to end it all!!! Will try and attempt some sort of edit when I have time, thanks again!!!
This track is well danceable, the drum fills work really well and make sure that attention is focused, the little sound fx coming in here and there sound wicked, the bassline is solid and driving. This is a well written track. I Look forward to hearing new mastered version.
Hiya,
yeah a few people have said about the volume of the vocals. They don't sound too bad through my headphones, but then I guess that doesn't mean much if others are struggling to hear lol.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and review. :)
Woah this is heavy. This is sonicially claustrophobic, the beats are tight and it's well produced. That first line from the newsreader about the flu spreading is daunting as is all, but especially the first.
Interesting that wow wow wow sound is very 80's and the melody is good. When it first kicks in it is sonically ace, although maybe gets a bit repetitive.
That lead sounds a bit like a duck quacking to my ears though. A lot of people have championed TAL Noisemaker, I haven't been able to get on with it - yet. Your tracks have some good melodys this one included.
It is well catchy - almost instantly, I think that the first lead sound is too wimpy for the track though, I think that the riff goes really well with the beat, 2nd lead synth that comes in sounds well cool. Tracks too short at the moment. I Look forward to hearing the next version.
Whats wierd is that this is one of my most liked track lol. Also the track that Ive been ignoring for so long. But latley ive been remaking my old tracks so be on the lookout :)
It started of like an 80's Christmas song, and I thought hmmm, maybe this could be a contender for the that guy on t.v, who made it his mission to get a proper Christmassy tune back to number 1 rather than all the x factor/idol stuff.
Then the vocals came in and I started laughing. Because of the contrast to what I, maybe many, would expect after hearing the music before they come in. The rapping I don't think is bad, but the aggressive nature and lyrics don't fit the music is what I think.
Hi there! Actually I am a funny guy, and I make music just for fun (if we can call it music :)), I am not pro, I am a guy who loves music. With this song I intended to creat a funny contrast, but no one realised this... LOL
Thanks for the review!!!
It's good, and what others have said about the track crying out for a lead vocal is so true!!! The sound of you plugging your guitar in, or cable fizz whatever, (was that - in the spirit of punk deliberate?) although obviously you don't need telling that "Punk" has a broader spectrum than what many people think -
To my ears - this guitar/cable fizz spoils the track a little and it is a good song, structured well nice riffs, with a good guitar solo.
Thanks for reviewing my track and your great comments and suggestions.
As for the guitar plugging in sound/noise....yes it was deliberate as I changed guitars and thought it would add more to a live feel.
Thanks for your review and I will check out your page as well.
Great vocals and cool hook melodies. Personally I am fed up with hearing autotune on just about everything, but it does work really well on this track. This is a well written song.
