Love the sample cut. Nice intro with the wide, drone wob. I'm diggin the high-end wobble w/ the easy lows underneath too. Good job.

I like the feel of this. I'd love to hear it with your femme vocals un-pitched! Either way, I'm a fan.

on Space Hopping by Hutch82
I love Acid Jazz! This is a fine example, and the fact that you play live (something I suck at in complete suck-ness) is great! Well done, not over-sequenced like so many artists seem to do. It just flows along with what you were playing like the beat just wrote itself. Good stuff.

RE: RE: Word up, yo. Fo Sho. Keep learning! Time and patience bring musical mastery.

Still on the curve learning all the time about getting stuff down I do like a groove and space and just wanted Space Hopping to ebb and flow. Really value your input Mr B groove long and prosper

on Rhapsodies (Sorrows) by BrokenScythe
Why the f*** are there only 5 reviews on this? This track is AMAZING! I'm saying, there may not be too many styles that I gravitate towards, but this Trip Hop is straight up sick. Yeah, I woulda put it up in that genre, but it fits anywhere I'd say.

It's hella Samurai Champloo-ish, and has REAL feeling. Great sound quality, great layout. All around just a really beautiful track. I love it. You are talented, bro.

I do have one suggestion. I LOVE the rain samp, but it's just a little bit gained up. I can envision it being a little softer. Other than that, and even if it doesn't change, this track is dope. Good work.

Sup Cutty- Bro, you are talented as f***Your cadence and clarity are both top notch. I'm sure you already know that, but it can't hurt for me to say it. I'm about 3/4 of the way through a track with the vocals from this track, and I was thinking it was gonna blow your mind. But thn I heard this s*** and I was like, daaaamn. I'd be happy for you to check it out and tell me what you think, because it's a different style than what you seem to usually do. (email me at shadowpeoplesf@gmail.com, as I haven't uploaded it, but would be happy to send it to you). Check out my other beats too and see if you may wanna recommend a few lyrics of yours that would be good for my style of production. I'm very impressed, and coming from me, I'd say that's pretty big praise.

on Cyberpiper (feat. R. Decock) by sigmamanone
Haha! I love what Nosleeves just said. It's still a good track even though I'm reviewing it though, ha. So far away from my style and genre(s) of choice. But, it is just a good, solid track.
I grew up around the sound of pipes and drums that sounded an awful lot like the ones in this beat.

Thanks, man! I measure the quality of a track on the reactions of people who say they like it though it's not their favored style! So, it's a good sign you like it! :-p

Great! I'm glad to hear it! If you need any pointers, I'm all about helping out fellow creators. I've been doing this for a long time, I'm just sayin'. Check out a few of the best dubstep artists, people like: Burial, Bassnectar (though he is amazing with pretty much all BEATS) Deadmau5 hooks it up phat too. I also like Hatcha, but his style is true UK grime/dubstep, and I really prefer new-school vibin'. What are you using to make your music?

Seriously, you need to get at me. I am really impressed, and that is pretty damn rare, especially on this site. I don't wanna start from scratch or nothin like that, I just wanna see what you have in mind, and flow up a wicked beat to it.
The lyrics in this are ill as f***. Haha, I'm halfway ready to go get myself some 'more' right now, just from listening to this track.

shadowpeoplesf@gmail.com is where you should send a reply to, should you decide you'd like to work with me. Where I -was- fairly sure my music would be up your alley (so to speak, heh), after listening to what you have available here, I'm 100%... okay, maybe not 100%... 100 muthaf***in' perCENT sure that my beats are what you are looking for. I'd absolutely love to get that sexy a$$ voice on any one, Looking forward to hearing from you. Don't give up, there is actually someone here that can do what you want. Hit me.

How is it that you are so f***in' hot!? I love the "taste so good" part. Hell, I love all the lyrics and the entire track, very sexy and sultry. Who says there's nothing sexy about blondes!! Little pipsqueak nerds do, that's who. I'd LOVE to make something like this on a collab with you, just straight up dubstep or breakstep... But yo, girl, you got skills. I hope you get at me.

on Nice To Meet You by Observe
It's dubstep alright. Great originality, tough beats, kick a$$ LFO. I like that you kept changing the wave form as the wobble was poppin' (around 1:20-1:50)... I'm gonna take a guess and say you were using Reason to make this, yeah? The wobby is what makes me think that, as Reason just has the coolest, easiest LFO automation in the world... Why more people don't see that, I dunno... Anyway, good job, I'd like to hear a final version when you decide to master it up a bit more!
Observe
Observe replied Unknown
Thanks for the props man. Much love. I do use reason but only for drums. I rewire Reason through Reaper and use VST's like Massive for my bass and wobbles.

on Victim by ZephyrX
Sup yo. Good job! I can't believe I finally found someone else that doesn't use WACK A$$ Fruity Poops. This track is way cool, and you have a good start. I'm hearing a bit to much LOUD on the high end of the track, and the bass can be widened and turned up! But yo, good F****in' job, kid! What are you using to master this track?
ZephyrX
ZephyrX replied Unknown
Thanks man! and i agree i haaate fl studio its so bad. but I use Reason for everything I do. I use audacity to record some samples sometimes though. but thats about it haha. but thankyou for your review!

on In Order to Play by niklasoh
I like this. Nice and foreboding. It falls into the Grime category, if you ask me. But the beat has that 2-step cadence that all dubstep must. I like it when people take genres and make them their own, good stuff.
niklasoh
niklasoh replied Unknown
Thanks for the review! Grime? Perhaps your right there. I guess it's somewhere in between those 2 genres.

For someone that isn't "really into dubstep", you sure have a strange way of showing it, haha. Pretty good, and maybe you should get into dubstep a little more? Just a thought.

on You Aint Gangsta by Observe
I have the same question! First though, lemme say that you killed it with this beat. I've been somewhat disappointed with the music that has been uploaded to this site, especially the stuff in the dubstep genre. I swear, I listened to a track labeled as dubstep, but it was bootybass techno... You, Sir, are in the dubstep top five on Looperman, if not straight up number two! (right behind me, of course, lol!) Haha, just F****in' with ya. Seriously though, great job! I could stand to hear the bass become a bit richer though. Other than that, it kills, s*** it kills anyway!

on Lights and Darkness (Ellie Goulding REMIX) by FinalBoss
Well done. A little more upbeat than I usually enjoy, but it's well put together. How much of this remix is sampled loops, and how much is sequenced out from scratch?
FinalBoss
FinalBoss replied Unknown
Hey thanks for the dig man! The track is a direct remix of "Ellie Goulding - Lights" I have sampled only the pella (s/e) from this clip. Other than that the only sample used is a drum loop. I played the rest on keyboard. You rock Mighty Bender.

on Packman - Nightmare by TheKidChad
How is it that nobody has reviewed this yet? This is wicked as F***! GREAT job. The whole thing is dope. The Jump-Up element you got in there throughout the track is sick, straight up drumstep. Nice one. I love the vocal cut too.

on my heart is empty by tommyb
This S*** is fresh as F***! Super slick, nice n' clean, and sequenced nicely. The song title is dope, and I really enjoyed the entire layout as it fits the title well. I feel a bit of aching lament coming through the sound, great way to capture that. Keep it melancholy, it's a beautiful way to be musically.

on Rostik - Liquid (Joshlul Remix) by joshlul
Pretty pimpin'. I like it a lot! It's really different. I think you could mellow out the electronic blips a little bit, and widen the bass a bit, maybe drop it down a few pegs on the deep scale. But, def a cool track, yo.

on REVALATIONS ft LOWLIFE Remix DaChopDocta by dachopdocta
I gotta say... I've got this Lowlife sample in my library, and have used it in a track, but never finished it. You applied it with masterful skill. I'm impressed. It's been compressed and cleaned-up with precision and fits the track, or the track fits it, or both. Great rendering.
dachopdocta
dachopdocta replied Unknown
Hey. Yea man, I know what you mean. Sometimes working with vocals can be a challenge. You have a very good ear, yes I compressed and equalized it a bit so it could fit the track.

Thanks for the feedback :)
