Really good stuff. I liked the trancey feeling with the electro edge, Nice sounds, beats, progressions. Ending a little abrupt for me though.

Sorry, forgot about genre. It feels too punchy for chillout, maybe Cinematic?

I like the feel of the intro, but it seems slightly off beat - when it tightens ups, it's great. IMHO synths and piano good but not so sure about the kicks. They have a good sound but I feel the rhythms need work, Overall, really good work, I only wished it lasted longer

yeah i had some trouble with the intro but i spent some time on it earlier and i think iv sorted it out altho iv added a few more things into it and i think its much better! i plan on making it into a whole lot more than what i have here its just i have way to many ideas for this and normally i complain i have no ideas at all haha

IMHO, After a bit of a slow start, when this gets going it's wonderful. Also,I feel the pad you use is too ordinary. This music deserves something better to set against the piano.

This is a classic. I feel this is better than the earlier fxed version as it lets the music speak for itself.

Hi Sukuta,
talking from gorilla to gorilla... lol... you are perfectly right... maybe I'll re-remix it.
The slow start was made to slowly enter in the mood... maybe it's too much slow.
The pad was choosen to give it an old print to it... maybe too much old... lol.
I sometimes have old tastes.
Thanks for this usefull comment.

Manages to be offbeat and retro cheesy at the same time. I love it.

Wonderful intro; I played it over and over. The oud could have been more to the foreground perhaps. Great moody singing in a lovely contralto. It is I in awe...

Lovely track, reminiscent of JM Jarre at his best. Like the bass pulses behind the spacey treble but would have liked the bottom end to have more punch.

on Find Myself With You by MeganONeill
I like the intro and the backing, some good ideas there. The vocals are a little raw but they feel immediate and honest. the drums fit well but I feel they need some variation as they started to become intrusive. Overall, I really like this.

Thanks for your critique ! I see your point of view, I spent a good amount of time trying to make sound less raw and more fitting

Great start. Like the various well judged and executed natural elements in it. I feel though, it needs a greater sense of progression

Great beginning. Good combo of heavy drums and ambient. Love the synths. IMHO I felt the heavy drums began to outstay their welcome after a couple of minutes which was a pity as they partly masked so much good stuff happening.

Lovely dark effects on this track. It feels like an intro to a longer piece so I was left hanging when it ended.

Thank you very much :) I'm working on a series of similar sounding tunes...

You might check out my site, I have a collection called "Event Horizon" that is free.. it's all ominous and very dark.. but more electronic and less organic... I'd love to know what you think of that.

on Spraypaint Sonata by Vidmeister
I like the drums and percussion and the arabic tang of the backing. Sweet guitar riffs. Some nice backing sounds introduced but I feel they come and go and I'd like them to stay a little longer so I could get to know them before they leave...

on JAZZY SOUNDS ft Ratty by SERGEJ77
Another original and fascinating mix. I admire your seeking for new musical expression. IMHO, I feel the drum and bass backing need some variety, either a break or some new patterns to maintain interest in the background. Then the backing can return later in the track, refreshed. The production is great, as always.

I like the beat, sets up a great dark tone. The strings work very well to reinforce the mood. IMHO this would be great as an intro to a longer dark ambient piece I would love to listen to. You handle dark well.

Nice beats and synths. I like the way you vary the dynamics and the rhythms to keep it fresh. A lot of classic trance effects in here and I'm reminded why I love it.

on Neons by DashNeon
I loved the free-wheeling feel and the beautiful techno sounds. Great punchy and catchy beat. Lovely growly bass.

The lead was fun at the start but IMHO it went on too long, another theme might be better later on on the track.

The surprise bleep at the end was a good idea but I felt you paused too long before it arrived and the effect was lost.

I really enjoyed this. Great fun .
DashNeon
DashNeon replied Unknown
Thanks i agree the lead was a lil long need to do a few edits

not a bad idea a new theme would give it a whole unique aspect after the zippy lead for a chorus with maybe a bass drop? this may stop it from getting repeative

as for that bleep that was an accident opps! lol

Completely original. Respect for your creativity and skill,I know how hard it is to get sampled voices sounding right. It's only when I read your notes again I realised there are only vocals and drums, the track sounds so full of interest and colour.
