Thank you, Slap.
Actually it's the first time I play slide on a Strat with a normal E-tuning with a Line 6 Toneport UX2. I've red you have one. Preset Crunch guitar Light Brown. I normally us the Strat for lead guitar so I did not change the height of strings. Because my hands are to small for normal slide playing I use it as a lapguitar.
To do this in a good way you have to play very precise with a soft touch. The effect of the preset gives it a Joe Walsh style. Advantage of normal E tuning is that the riff patterns are the same. Normally I play slide on a resonator with D-tuning but slowly I see the advantage of normal E-tuning.

Oh yeah time to rock! Brilliant butt kicking track Watts! Great arrangement, production and mix. Wonderful tight kit sound and those guitars and bass are MONSTER. Cheers Slap...
This track is genius! Great fusion of styles knitted together with that lovely upright bass loop. Great use of space and effect on other loops and stuff. Awesome audio mayhem, Cheers Slap...
Hi Mike, great feel on this track. I love the rhythms you have used and your cool guitar sound. Thanks for asking me to contribute on this song, and I'm sorry it took me a while to lay my parts down. The end result is a really fantastic flavoured piece of work. Cheers Slap...
I've spent about 2 hours going through all the funk samples, and downloaded a lot of yours slap! cheers buddy, i'll try and make some more 'superfunk' out of them sometime soon.
This stuff just gets better! Your sound will never date, it will always sound great and fresh. You simply can't beat real instruments and vocals 10/10. Mix is super as is the arrangement and the writing. This is mega! Cheers Slap...
Wow Dave! What a cool track. The drums sound mint, and your bass is just the best. Great use of synths to wash the sound and get that dreamy vibe. Mix and production are the best yet! Cheers Slap... P.s Is that guy surfing nude?
Hehe....thanks for the listen buddy..that's me on the long board!....this shot was taken many years ago (I was 16)and I'm not nude but wearing the Australian traditional speedo's,hehe you'd get laughed off the beach if you showed up in that getup now!..I still use a long board.I'm a sentimentalist I guess...cheers
