Why yours? Why not. I will eventually get to the others. When I took my first peek at what's happening here, it seemed like you and your band present yourselves as a professional act. And not that others don't, you just stood out more. It was something in the way you credit members in your band that said to me, I should review yours first. Your band's high level of professionalism, commitment, and the presentation will draw fans to your group. You have clearly illustrated that. Your profile of places listed, where you can be heard also helped.

Hey, I am new here, I will get something up in the near future. But my songs typically take weeks, and not days or hours. I appreciate your gracious handling of what I wrote, cheers. I'm just getting off the ground. Likewise, I'm not trying to overexert myself here to start. Thank you.

Hi, yes, I was trying to choose my words very carefully. But I think Anthony said it best, there is a lower overall quality to the track that so many things in it suffer, like the vocals and the drums for one, in my opinion.

Because I saw all the lovely comments you got, I wanted to be as truthful as possible. Maybe the WAV version sounds perfect. But, when you used a lower compression bit rate for your mp3, it will cut most of the upper frequencies that sometimes results in a tin can sound effect (upper frequency artifacts), unintentionally. That's what I hear as a result of your lower compression rate. It just does not sound all that natural in manner of speaking. The drums should be clearer and punchier, but they are suffering under your lower mp3 compression file rate. I am sorry if I did not make my original review clearer for you. As I said earlier, this was a nitpicky critique, but nothing seriously wrong. Thanks for the welcome. Cheers!

Okay, then everything is clear. When will we hear from you? I noticed that so far you have only analyzed our song on LM and nothing else. Why ours? Aren't you interested in the others?

Hi @2Sisters. Well, let me say this before I get started on my very first review, I noticed that reviews here are not as in-depth as I hoped. Reviews here, it seems, are more personal than an actual musical assessment or critique.

First, the musical arrangement was good, I liked the chorus parts more than the verse parts. The Chorus/Bridge parts added a lift or break to a somewhat repetitive arrangement, in my constructive opinion.

The lyrics, great! I don't need to dive hard into the lyrical writing. Well done there!

My biggest issue with this song, without trying to sound too negative, is the post-production. There is a very unpleasant artifact sound from start to finish, due to potentially, a misused compressor, or production effect. The result is an unpleasant tunnel type noise. That's just me being nitpicky. Overall, it is a great song, you and your team has put together. But just maybe some small details were missed. But in any regard, it is still a nice song.

Hello and good evening. First of all, I would like to welcome you as a new member here. Yes, we are usually nice to each other here. That's a good thing, because we see ourselves as a community. There are collaborations here that go far beyond LM. Each of us is happy to receive concrete, factual criticism, although the word criticism does not have negative connotations. We are also happy to receive active contributions, such as uploading loops of acapellas and, as in this area, complete songs. And yes, we also point out errors and production problems and support each other.
I have read your message and we have listened to the song repeatedly in the studio. But I cannot understand your comment about the artifacts throughout. What exactly do you mean? Annoying clicks, crackles, distortions, echoes that are not present in the original sound? Signal interference? Unfortunately, it is known that we have a compression problem here. So please be more specific about what you are seeing.
