Just the mix/levels could use some extra attention indeed.
Couldnt tell you how to fix it though, cause there's just too much going on in specific frequencies that's it's waaay out of my skill level :)
Liking it! I dont think it needs much more really, the whole power is the repetitive / hypnotic steadiness.
A few ideas for variation :
- EQ/filter sweep that droning sound here and there. Just to give the whole thing a bit more life.
Furthermore, there seems to be a rimshot kind of sound in there. It gives it a militant edge, which works great.
It might help if you bring that out more, or double it with another sound. Basically get a bit more percussion going on, especially something in the higher frequencies. Preferably a bit panned Left and Right
You already have a few tom fills going on, to end a cycle of bars. You might want to exagarrate those bring them out more, or even throw in a good old fashioned Amen Break.
Especially love the old school synths, bringin me back to the times of Rotterdam Records (Parkzicht!) in the early 90's. Really good rolling vibe, good job!
Seriously, really gorgeous! Especially the melodic work stands out for me. I closed my eyes and pictured myself in a spa somewhere in the tropics, getting a 4-hand massage.
Personally, I would prefer to hear more balls. In both the drums and the bottom. Just a tiny amount of dirt, so that the stomach gets served too. But that might be a matter of taste...

this track has that Blade vibe going on.

Could go the dubstep way, or you throw in a few Timpali (and the likes) and you got yourself a huge theme song for an action flick....or game
