What did you make those distorted bass, almost glitchy effects that occur in the background with the bass with? I think it really adds character to the bassline. Also I love the drums, they work extremely well with the bassline
Thx for your curiosity mate
For the bass i used differents things like the RC20 from XLN audio + I played with a step sequencer to change the groove + Eq compressor etc
The drum is from Addictive drum 2
Love the usage of sounds, especially the lead, works very well. I think that the sub bass is drowning the lead and drums a little too much though, perhaps it needs to be quieter? i'm sure it has but make sure that it's EQed too :P
I would try to aim on making that brass lead for the drop to really stand out and really make the track. You may disagree with me when i say this (which is fine) but i would sidechain it a bit heavier and have a loud, compressed kick that punches through the track to really make the lead pop and give it that future bouncy dance feeling. Remember, your brass needs to be the sound that really defines the song as a dance track and get people on their feet.
The arrangement of this track is perfect, the choice of introducing that melody at the buildup is great addition and really creates emphasise towards the drop.
Nice job so far, keep working on it and take it all the way
I love this so much.
I don't comment much on looperman but I just had to leave a comment on this track! I just love how the background melody forms the track to sound ominous and exciting, and the panning of the piano and the synth really sets the mood of this track. Sounds very nostalgic, reminds me a lot of an old runescape composition. Really great job
Its a bit sad, you don't comment that much... your comment is pretty neat and im sure others would love to read your tough about their work like you did for me. So please consider to comment more often :P
Anyway thanks for giving one of your rare comments.
