As they a little "preset" feel to them; I would consider applying some effects to them or possibly get hold of a load of VSTi from www.dskmusic.com (they're free) or www.kvraudio.com (some free) and switch out the some of the strings and piano for something a little bit different.
Good work, very high quality. Keep going. I'm self taught as well, but I've been at this for over 20 years. Being self taught tends to lead to some very original work.
Love the feel on this. A real moody track. I would consider changing the hi-hatts and snare a little; possible add an effect to twist the sound. Even so, downloaded!
I only played around with it for about 10 minutes, but yes its working great. The program itself wouldn't run, but importing the dll into mpt worked just fine.
Loved the vocals here and synth, although my laptop had trouble with the dynamic range.
A problem I have with many of my tracks; easy to fix run the completed track through either a compressor or use a filter to gently clip the upper range.

What are you using as your sound sources?

I don't if it helps, but the best VSTi piano I know is TASCAM's CV Piano:

Which is free.
And thanks for pointing me to that vst, its awesome.
