The drums are killer in this, really a wall of sound with just the drums. The vocals and piano mesh well with them. Then the guitar comes in and it's a great vibe. Over all the balancing and arrangement of this sounds like some Persona 5 level quality. Quite a journey of a composition you got over all. The panning work on the rhodes. The amp guitar that comes in later followed by the rythmic rhodes pattern. It's some great sauce.
Then the trumpet, OMG. it's so fire.
This is def one of the highest level of compositions I've come across on this site. Great use of a wide variety of synths and actual instruments, it must have been a lot of work to balance everything together naturally. Brilliant overall nothing about this mix is bad TBH.
ilovebaglelz. Greetings and Happy New Year. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate the compliments and intricate details for what you heard. Jazz fusion is one of my favorite genres because of the musical journey it will take you on. I'm happy you thoroughly enjoyed this listen. Be safe
Last thing the first 3 seconds of the intro is not needed I feel like it's way too loud and painfully piercing to the ears. It could be reworked at a lower octave possibly.
The part at 0:33 SLAPS so hard. The intro and endtro are solid. Although at 0:47, I felt like moving away to 3 different ideas was kind of jarring since the vibe was so solid, but the ideas could def work but I feel like incorporating more of 0:33 would work.
Like I feel at 0:47 that 2nd idea was enough, once it goes to the bell, it feels out of place, not saying it could never work but the way all 3 ideas transitioned between each other made it feel unnatural.
I do love the sound at 1:17. You have a great ear for intense sounds. And def for ambience and atmosphere.
0:33 has the potential to be a full blown song on it's own, I feel like the most important thing is learning how to transition more smoothly.
Like at 0:47 it was smoother cause it retained the bass from the earlier bars, but at 1:02 it loses the bass completely. Which lacks that WALL of sound you had achieved starting at 0:33.
Over all though a solid track. Very distinct atmosphere. Could def see it used in a video game.
