Description : Another trance song I kinda modeled with inspiration from the Dune series of books. I plan on doing another version of this with some audio clips from the original movie soon once I get these tests and essays out of the way this week. Nothing too fancy here, arps and supersaws, aplenty. This is another song from last year sometime.

Description : I havent named this one yet. Made it this weekend. The lower and mid bass is layered with sine waves and v-station, with those 2 side chained, and a trance pluck for higher bass thats not side chained. Any thoughts are appreciated. The saws are from superwave p-8. Piano is FL keys.

Description : Another track I did last year. I cant seem to finish any of my newer tracks...I was gonna make this song and its FLP file a tutorial for beginners on how to do progressive trance but I still havent gotten around to adding the how-to comments inside the FLP file.

Description : Track I made last year. Used sylenth for the breakdown pad, superwave for the supersaw. V station for the bass I think.

Description : Despite the oompa bassline I still like this one. (I jacked the bass osc from deadmau 5's bass preset from one of his sytrus projects) Made this some time last year too.

Description : I thought I would have a go at making a trance track in the dream trance genre. Its still a wip but I wanted to get feedback on if I am on the right path or not and what needs changing.

I guess this is bad judging from the lack of reviews, heh.

Description : More progressive track I guess. Used superwave P8 for the lead, sylenth 1 for the strings, simple rolling bassline this time.

Description : Lets see, f minor pentatonic scale, nexus for most of the synths except the opening arp. Bass is side chained but not layered this time. Made this back in 2008. Any tips appreciated.

Description : I made the bass first then built the rest of the track around that. Used mostly fl studio for the supersaws, pads, and the pluck. FL keys for the piano. The bass is from two sytrus presets I tweaked and layered till it sounded right. (Deep and trance bass, lowered the filter sustain on them and side chained them.) The mix is not perfect yet as I just made this today in the last hour or so.

Description : Another short trance song I did, the song name again comes from my favorite sci fi book series, Dune. Please comment if you take the time to listen! Even if you think it sounds horrible please tell me so I know what I need to work on. Any thing you like or dont like please point out so I can improve. I can only improve if people tell me what im doing wrong. Thanks in advance for any replies!

Description : A remake of an earlier song I did. Changed around alot of stuff and made it more trance like I think. Used more compression on this version then the original. Also uploaded it as a video on youtube at

Description : This one is more a test of a different way of doing tracks for me, with less melodies because I am testing a different way of using compression and layering to make the track. I think the bassline and kick sounds alot better then in my other tracks. No snare rolls on purpose. Also used more filters then usual to cut out unwanted frequencies.

Description : My first song ever, made in fruity loops. I think all the loops are from it. I dont know much about the program yet so dont expect anything fancy as im still learning. Tips are appreciated as im just starting out.
