Description : THIS IS NOT A SONG!! IT IS A ONE SHOT SAMPLE FOR YOU TO USE AS YOU PLEASE!! Enjoy the sounds of Seacliff Beach just south of Santa Cruz, Ca. There is a beach where there are mostly vacation homes and this time of year doesn't see much beach traffic, I got a good sample using a Tascam DR40. download and use as you desire! Just please shoot me a link to hear what you've done with it!
Description : This is a song I wrote in 1990. I was in a band called Spoiled Brat with this phenom guitar player that was seriously full of himself. I was programming sequences on an Ensoniq EPS back then. (for my self, not the band) I programmed the drums, bass, and Acoustic guitars, while Troy McDowell did the guitar. A great singer friend did the vocals named Jimi Chappell. I wrote the words and music. This is for all you guitar players out there in LooperWorld. Please let me know what ya think. Rock on!
Description : Had to break my promise on uploading something new for Thezerit's post on ones very 1st trak. This was done on an Ensoniq ESQ-1. It has an onboard Sequencer with 8 tracks/instruments. I went straight out L & R to a stereo cassette deck. The rest is history. No quantizing, a few key slips. I am surprized I found this....
Description : Made on Reason, this song seems incomplete to me. I shot a copy over to Bilbozo and WOW! I STRONGLY suggest you check out our collab version. Serious difference!. Here is the link: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/20376
Description : Another ancient tune I collaborated on with a great friend of mine back in 1992. If anyone knows a Ken Moran who once lived in Hilo, Hi. and worked at Boulder Creek Round Table Pizza in Ca. I am searching for him. He did all the guitar work and we both did keys. This song really takes you somewhere else. Update March 2011. Ken found me on Facebook! He lives in Camboda currently!
Description : I wrote this song in 1986 using an Ensoniq ESQ-1 sequencer and sounds, midied out to a Juno 106 and an Alesis D-4. It was ahead of its time. Oh, and let's not forget to pay omage to the digital delay!! Ok, I keep getting corrected on the genre so I changed it.
Description : This is a song I wrote in 1994. I KNOW I am not a good singer.......now. This is the same song my one and only accapella came from. I recorded it on an old 4trak also. P.S. My voice isn't that high anymore. I think I slowed the trak down using the pitch control to sing the high parts as well.
Description : Ok, I am bored. I am going through the computer here and checking out all my 'incomplete' works. i didn 't realize how many things I started and never developed or finished. In true Looperman fashion, I offer this little piece to all of the looperholics out there. Be sure to let me know what you come up with. Get out your digital scalpels! I could never get past this point on this one. All loops from Reason and its Refills.
Description : This is the very 1st trak I wrote on Reason after my buddy Victor gave me about a four hour 'over his shoulder' tutorial. I took my newly loaded laptop home and spent all night on this song. I was so used to sequencing all my stuff still, I played all the instruments, with very few loops. I have a gal interested in singing vocals to this. Who said Reason is hard!!! Also check out Rei4reals collab version!
Description : My first truely 'electronica' song I ever wrote. I busted it out in about 3 hours due to an unnatural state of mind...... it was the early 90's. Recorded on a Tascam 246. For those too young it was a 4 trak tape recorder that used 'cassette' tapes. I should try to remake this one.
Description : This was the 2nd song I wrote using Reason. It was such a departion from what I was used to. Full racks of keyboards and modules were reduced to...... a laptop.
Description : Another fave of mine. This came quickly. Wish they all did.
