Description : Made this song with an iPad and a borrowed acoustic guitar and mic on my old rig. Did this song like 3 years ago. It is mixed horribly because I was still using my desktop speakers to mix it haha (didn't have headphones or studio monitors). I was also sick when I recorded this haha. Made this song in about 5 hours. Seriously considering redoing because I like it so much, despite it's flaws.

Description : This was actually my first attempt at recording an acoustic guitar, almost two years ago. I had just learned at the time that STEREO sounds so much more immersive than MONO. I was too inexperienced enough before to think that panning was all that important :P This was my attempt at getting a wider sound with acoustic guitars. The guitars and vocals are all done by me. I did most of these vocal recordings in one take - hence the wobbliness in some parts :P But feel free to comment and let me know what you think of it.

Description : Another old song I recorded over a year ago. Used an iPad for the drums and strings and I played my oldest brother's Gibson Les Paul Custom for the guitars. Enjoy! Not my best mix, but it was done over a year ago :P

Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!

Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.

Description : One of my favorite recordings I did with my brother from 2019. Never released, but this song still gives me chills! I hope you enjoy it.

My brother did the main vocals and the main acoustic, I did everything else.

Description : LYRICS - you pick up the pieces / moving along now / you don't know him anymore / he broke your heart a thousand times / his words cut you like a knife / take a deep breath now / look what you're doing / you don't even recognize / that he was not the one you needed / not the one you needed / bleeding out now with all your emotions / all your sorrows on the floor / you can't take it anymore ///// look at you on the floor / peace is hard to find in war / the memories are like a sore / so you try your best to slam the door / but I wanna' be in your life / wanna' heal all your strife / I am more than you have ever wanted / just give me a chance / just give me a chance / give me a chance.
Loops used: Xyilent - (https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/85000/xyilent-andromeda-melody-by-xyilent-free-82bpm-hip-hop-piano-loop) and KaloKidd (https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/88818/hard-hip-hop-drum-no-808-by-kalokidd-free-82bpm-hip-hop-drum-loop) I think I fixed the EQing issues and pulled back some sibilance as well as increased the overall volume. Opinions welcome :) Everything done by yours truly except for the two loops :3

Description : This site needs a Hardstyle genre, I think.. Anyways, words written and sung by yours truly. I was hired by Los Angeles DJ Lady Faith and produced by Andrew Bullett, an excellent audio engineer with a ton of talent and skill. I know nothing about this genre but it was said that my voice seemed to match the genre so I gave it a shot. This song was designed for being performed at EDM events and other things; I cropped out the intro and outro parts and this is also still a WIP.

Description : I went to the beach and set up my stereo recording mic under a gazebo near it (I apologize for some of the air gusts being recorded haha; we had a strong SE wind that day :P Tried my best to place it out of the wind); wanted to record myself playing live and do some cheesy roleplay in the process - wanted to make it feel like the listener was sitting there beside me. ** This is what the beach looks like: http://static.travel.usnews.com/images/destinations/80/south_padre_island_main.jpg **

Lo and behold, I'm about halfway through the song when my buddy Mark, a friend from college, heard me singing and decided to join me (he seems to never part with his guitar lol).

The expression on his face was that of confusion as to why I had my mic with me and a audio-capturing device, which I plugged into an outdoor electrical plug that the gazebo owners installed lol (I've done recordings like this before but didn't like the results; we messed up a little at the end but I was like meh it's not bad anyways.) but I'm glad he didn't say it out loud or it would have ruined the recording lol. Luckily, I was playing a song he and I wrote together some time ago, so he was able to just jump right in. He's a great guitar player.

Even though it was a little awkward at the end since we hadn't seen each other for like 4 months (you might be able to tell by the way I responded to his "thats so cool" comment haha), I think it turned out just fine. It was a lovely evening and the clouds were all poofy and happy. Lots of people were there too, though I made sure to sit far away from all of them. Ahh, it was a beautiful day. I'm glad I live by the ocean :P * Just kidding, I recorded this in my studio; though I do live close to the water, this was not recorded there :P I did everything, down to the wind blowing into the mic, except for the sound of water and the kids in the background. I got those sounds here: freesfx.co.uk/login/

The guitars and vocals were one-takes to give a more realistic feel. No pitch-correction or autotune. Just wanted to try making another soundscape (or whatever you want to call this :P) about what it's like to live by the ocean.

Description : My first attempt at recording rap vocals. My brother raps and I do everything else. There are some things I'm not entirely happy with, but this was an older mix I did on Pro Tools 6. Regardless, it was fun to record. Song was designed for radio play, hence the fat soundwave. :P Comments are welcome!

Description : Song written and sung by Joanna Orozco, this is my first official production of someone other than myself! I play all the instruments in this one. I personally like the end result, and I love her voice!
