Description : 175BPM Melodic Drum and Bass track I have been working on. This is an umastered preview therefore some levels may be off. It's just something I made for fun with my daughter.
All vocals were performed by my daughter who is three and a half. Obviously they have been processed but she even does the vocoder "Let It Go"
Any comments and suggestions appreciated. Hope You Enjoy

Description : This is the final version of this track. Probably does not sound much different to the WIP version to the untrained ear but I slightly adjusted the original levels of the some of the hats and rides and ran it through Sound Forge with iZotope Ozone to bring it up to commercial levels with regards to the volume, plus some stereo seperation and a litle compression.

Description : This is my latest production to date called "Nothing Matters". It's drum and bass, has taken a little over 40 hours production time so far. It's built from scratch (no loops were used except a highly modifed amen break layered to the drums). Instruments used: Zeta+ (Sub Bass), NI Massive (Mid Bass, Warble), Albino 3 (Pads + Leads + Some FX). This is still a work in progress btw, so any constructive criticism welcome. hope you enjoy. Thanks :-)
The adult content flag relates to a single sample containing the phrase dogs**t. ;-)

Description : Here it is, the final version of my latest track "Rise Above It". It's uplifting trance @ 136bpm. I've
put in around 60 hours production time. It's built from scratch as always. Main instrument used is
Albino 3 which has been used for the bass, lead, trance arps and pads.
The differences to this version compared to the pre-release version are:
Added an additional hi hat sequence to add depth to the top end of the percussion.
Added subtle additional bass and snare hits at the end of 16 bar sequences.
Remade the snare rolls to be not so generic.
Remade the main pad to thicken it.
Added a few more FX on transitions.
Tweaked all the filter sweeps on the white noise effects.
Adjusted all the levels (started from scratch, several times until happy).
Added sidechain compression to the lead, pads, trance arps and bass with differing ammounts on each
element, depending on what was needed.
Re-adjusted the subtle compression on the main bus.
Removed any and all digital clipping.
Due to the high compression of the uploaded file on looperman, there seems tobe some odd artifacts on the high hats, therefore I suggest you hear it in higher quality checkout

Any constructive criticism is always welcome. Hope you enjoy it.

Description : This is my latest track to date, thought I would have a go at a trance style track this time. It's hitting in at 134bpm. So far it's taken about 20 - 30 hours to produce. It's built from scratch as always. Main instrument used is Albino 3.. well I've used it for pretty much most of it tbh, basses, leads and pads ect. This is an pre-release so feedback most welcome please. (If you want to hear it as a higher quality file, feel free to contact me.) Enjoy!

Description : Been working on this for the past 2-3 weeks or so, about 50 - 60 hours put into it. I am pretty happy with the results so far. It's Drum & Bass @ 174 BPM.
It incorporates a lot of new production techniques I have learned over this past month or so.. learning with each new track. It was built using FL Studio 9, Albino 3, Zeta + and apart from a few of the transitional FX (whitenoise, sweeps ect which are from the Push Bang Rise FX sample cd's) it's been built entirely from scratch, no loops were used.
Have a listen, see what you think, any and all feedback most welcome. Enjoy :-)

Description : This track is a 174 BPM pumpin DnB track created using Fl Studio 9. The only loop used was a small high pass filtered cymbal FX thats heard during the pads of the intro.
Inspiration for the track purely came from wanting to learn about producing high quality music and it has a slight trance/techno infusion, hence the name.Total time spent on it (according to FL) is about 65 hours but a lot of that was also spent trying to master techniques like EQ'ing, Compression, Sidechaining ect.
Please bear in mind, this is compressed down to 128kbps from a 32bit Wav file.
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Any feedback welcome. :-)

Description : 140 BPM Breakbeat / Pop tune. Originally I created a breakbeat, then created the piano chorus, created a bassline to match the piano. Laid out most of the track and never thought it would have vocals until I found the "Pop male vocals" sitting in my library, credit for those goes to Breakbeat Paradise. Some tweaking of the elements to fit and added strings and an organ style melody to finish it off, with mastering applied after.

Description : A Drum n Bass track with hip hop influence. Starts off as a hip hop style track and works up into a rolling drum n bass tune. Originally I had heard "Tear it Down" a popular drum n bass track in the uk charts recently and wanted to created something in that style but then it took off on it's own tangent. I consider it still a work in progress so some feedback would be great. :)
