Description : Opinions please! Took the week off work as I was itching to spend some quality time getting lost in music. Originally was gonna re-work an older (short) demo from ages ago but found this track coming together instead. Shifted my focus and 8 hours later, finit.

Description : This was _all_ done on Memorial day - I had a day off after a couple of gruelling weeks at work and felt like doing music. Couple of tweaks finished up today (5/26) and I like it a lot. Nice trancey number with a decent breakdown and some great stuff firing off all over the place. I really wanted to use the couple of soft synths I have (VSTs in Cubase) so the only hard synth sound from my Roland Fantom is the strings that appear.

My usual approach of looping the main 8-bar piece first until I get the sound right before jumping into arranging the whole thing. Hope you like it!

Description : Very happy with this one but its not finished - will be adding some nice effects, rolls and proper levelling - will upload finished version in a week or so.

Started this track in late March but as with most of my synth loops, got saved to disk and then almost forgotten. Dug it out and found some decent samples. Tried a new approach (for me anyway) to arpeggiation and couldn't resist a bit of Theramin.

Vocal sample is from a late-night radio show - it fell together perfectly.

Enjoy.

Description : Lead line came to me one afternoon, the rest followed quickly. Quick arrangement and a fairly decent mixdown. I had already been rebuilding my samples repository and the Babylon 5 quote sprang to mind.

Contains basically 5 parts; the lead, the arp, 2 basses and a string (single note). All synth sounds are from my Roland Fantom Xa with effects and FX from Cubase.

Sounds a bit too old-school for what I'm looking to do but hey, I'm rusty after a few years away and its a start! Enjoy.
