Description : This track developed out of a bit of experimentation with drum sounds recorded from the ER1 through the ART preamp, once i'd found some good settings the V Station supplied a really simple bass line and it ran on from there. The vocal sample (from a FM mag DVD i think) was a bit of an afterthought and I'm not totally sold on the arrangement. But after 5 years of not getting time with my equipment it feels good to be creating some music again.

Description : First thing I did after getting my gear back up and running was to make sure I could remember how it all worked. This is the result, the V Station is on Bass duty again and the beat is a combination of a gated loop, Logic softsynth (ES1 i think) sounds and the trusty ER1 Electribe.

Description : My usual drum & bass technique of supplementing a basic ER1 beat with chopped up and gated loops. More FM DVD vocal samples and some gated synth fx. This is still very much a work in progress and it may make it onto some pirate stations in the area so feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Features a loop from Caveman kicking in around the 1 min mark.
This is version 3....I've changed a synth, added a vocal sample and messed about with the break in the middle....this could be finished if I can resist the temptation to go back to it :P

Description : Well this is my first attempt at combining my love of metal & d&b. It sprang from some ideas i had while playing around with DrumCore and messing about with my guitar and the POD Farm plugin, using Live7 as a host.
Edit:I've added a synth part and layered some of the original guitar part in.
2nd Edit:I've played around with the drums towards the end and also changed one of the vocal samples. I've also tried to tighten up the mix somewhat although it does get a little muddy in places.
3rd Edit:It's been chopped! :O Thank you to members who commented ;) Also tried to bring out a little more bass and a little more crunch....aaaaand i've had to redo the mix....sry for another quick update....
Ok I've bowed to the pressure....170bpm....and some extras ;) Soft Synths are from Novation and NI. I've beefed up the kick and snare a little as well as playing around with the rhythm in places.
Another quick update...more bassline...more fx....more snare ;)
This is still work in progress, as usual, comments would be welcome.

Description : Went back to the first track i uploaded and added some extra boing and a small section of the osiris acapella.
I've also added a couple of drum loops from this track if anyone likes the sound. If anyone wants i'll break them into individual hits too ;) Let me know.

Description : I took Dynamite's 'Gabriel's Trumpet' acapella and the amen break and this is what it turned into. The bass is a combination of three ES1's and an ESM and there is quite a bit of automation going on throughout.
Edit: I've added some some fx and fattened up the bass a little, also tried to clean up the drums a touch.
2nd Edit: I've played around with the drums and the mix in general, I've also added some more fx and tried to give the vocals a little more presence...
Still work in progress so as usual comments would be appreciated.
