Description : Hey, I know I say this every time I pop on here, but I do apologise for my absence. so here's a hip hop tune with a ton of sliced samples from sample packs.

You do NOT have permission to use this.

Description : So summer just went by, and now in Autumn once again. I guess this song is fitting to upload now. Will try to get some vocals on it.

Description : I tried out some indie-ish stuff. Mind telling me how I did? :D
Chord sequence is what I used for my GCSE composition piece. Still don't know how well I did.

Description : I can't seem to escape this place, for one reason or another. It's like a big game of whack'a mole. But whilst I'm here, I may as well upload some of my old dubstep stuff. College is going to be fantastic. I can feel it. Thanks again for all the support you've given me over the years. I'll definitely be back, perhaps sooner than I originally speculated. But between now and September, looper-based-lolage!

Description : Sorry for the complete lack of a title. Got plans for lyrics, no idea about what yet. The way its going its gonna be lyrics about writing lyrics seeing as that's all I've got on my mind, I said before I wouldn't sing, maybe I'll change my mind and try not to kill you with it.

Description : Loving the new site, feels really great! Heres another little celebratory demo track that I should really update some time soon. This time, it's a nice little chilled out DNB track, full of wierd chords that I don't normally use, and made using mostly freeware VSTs and samples from free sample packs, composed in FL Studio 10 over the course of about 8 hours (so far)

EDIT 1:
Added bongos, a change in strings, nice little effect section in the middle, changed the drums up a bit, and added a pretty nice little arp near the end. Still a WIP.

Description : A little bit of an experiment I did with fl studio's strumizer and arpeggiator tools, and it sounded a bit dull, so I remixed it and now it sounds a lot better. I used the vst plugin Tone2 Gladiator 2 for the bass and the pad, I used refx for those chimes (which was originally a piano) in the middle and at the end, and also for the drums (with the exception of the kick which was fl's fruit kick) and I also used Nexus for the sweeps.

I spent a good amount of time on this track so please take time to review my song.

This song was heavily inspired by above and beyond (especially the intro) and also is inspired by some amazing piano artists on youtube.

Enjoy!

Description : About three months now since I started this song... And I STILL havent finished it because im not sure what to do with it. This was inspired by the track "dance with me" by Blake Reary and Laurie Webb. It uses 2 of Fl's drum loops. One is Faxing berlin and the other is autophresh. Everything else (incuding the pad at the beggining) is mine.

I know its repetetive, which is why it needs vocals. To make it more... Interesting, I geuss.

The VSTs used are Genesis (thats the pad) refx nexus (prety much all of the other synths) Fl studios drum samples.

If you can sing please try to make an acapella for this song. I am terrible at lyrics so i cant help you there, but the BPM is 128.

Enjoy!

Description : A little drum and bass experiment I did, well, I say drum and bass, but it hasnt actually got much bass in it.

This is one of my earlier projects I did using Fl 9 (which if you ask me is not as good as fl 8), and its all my stuff, no loops used, the drumloops were made with the FPC.

Hope you enjoy!

Description : Merry Christmas loopers! Been a while since I was here, and I've said this before (and I'll inevitbly repeat myself in the future) but I need to use this site more.
So, I got a new mic for Christmas, along with a pair of bongos, and then I decided to write a song based off a Star Trek-esque scenario where mankind has unified and is looking to the stars. Fun stuff.

12 audio tracks thus far, no synthesizers used, and hoping to keep it almost entirely organic (Excluding the pitch shifting effect on the bass and the overall reverberation)
Criticism is not only welcomed but recommended. I'd rather have you tear me a new butt than kiss my existing one, for lack of better phrasing :D

Description : This used to be my entry for the looperman song, but It was too awkward to mix together, so now this track will stay as it is, no mixing together, just the song by itself.

I actually cant make many songs right now, I'm trying to put my VST's back together... At least I have most of them. Unfortunatley that includes that synth pad thing...

But I still have the vocals, bassline, and drums. Message me if you want me to send you the acapella, but I'll probably upload it on the site anyway.

Description : A piece based on one of my favourite bands at the moment. Not strictly jazz, but more like electro-swing. Meh, it was fun to do :D

Description : Just a very simple, currently weak-sounding acoustic track. This is the basic recording, mistakes were made, the recording quality isn't great, and I forgot to use a metronome. Would've used my electric, but I still don't have the strength to lift it (been in awful shape the past few weeks as a result of illness, better now though). Any advice is welcomed, not tried acoustic before, but might be something I attempt more in the future.

If anyone's interested, the guitar I used was a Yamaha F310 :P

Description : Well heres something completley different from me!

Guitar recorded by me, then effected to remove the static, with some distortion added for good measure.

Drums are some royalty free DNB samples (Rides + Crash), and EZDrummer light.

Description : I'm completely stuck with this track, I think I might need some help from some of you guys to finish this one. Its pretty simple, just a pad, bass, and a drumloop, but its done in a way which I think is better than most of my tracks on here so far.

I think I'm getting addicted to this site again :D

Description : Hey guys, I got a track up (finally), using an awesome guitar loop by abnerbesares called saphire acoustic. Its a really nice loop with an awesomely chilled out feel, and thats kinda what I went for with this track; chillout trance.

Description : Just a little something I composed the other day, got nothing for, then deleted a few of the synth patterns out of it.

Track 1- Drums (they're all attatched to FL studios FPC)
Track 2- Pad
Track 3- Arp
Track 4- Wobble bass

Its one of my better dubstep tracks, the buildups lacking a bit, but after the challenge I may go on to improve this.

Description : THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION OF MY TRACK "In paradise".

I've been working on and off this track for over a year now. Each time I've never been fully satisfied... until now. This is a 10 minute remix of a track that was originally 2 minutes long. Its also my first time using pitcher and newtone on my voice (hopefully it won't be a regular thing and I can use my actual voice in the future though)

The first three minutes of this track is the introduction, starting off with a wierd panning drumloop made with a few electro drum sounds that came with fl studio, and slowly adding more sounds to it.

The following 6 minutes are me playing around with loads of different drum loops, and my own voice.

The last two minutes or so is an outtro, ending with the same drumloop as in the start.

The guitar was made using string theory and image lines "Hardcore" plugin, the piano is a heavily filtered FL keys, the pads are four filtered samples, and the strings and bass were made with synth1- arguably the best freeware synth out there. The drums were manually placed into the FPC then sequenced.

Theres a better quality version up on soundcloud, because I had to cut down on the quality cause of the length of this track:

I'm not allowing downloads on either of the links, but if you contact me privately or in a review, I'll send the mp3 your way. (The one on soundcloud isn't 320, because I wasn't sure if soundcloud had a size limit)

Description : A song that fuses together several different styles. The drums and bass are obviosly dnb inspired, but theres some jazz elements (like an organ) thrown in there, as well as chillout elements: such as the acoustic guitar, and subtle pads in the second half of the track.

I had a lot of fun producing this, its still yet to have a bridge added onto it in which I'll just try to be as creative as possible.

I'm not too happy with the drums at the moment, but I have got plans to substitute in a better bunch of drum patterns, seeing as the ones I've used feel a little empty, and more than a little generic.

I used a lot of the freeware MDA effects on this track, especially on the piano at the start and the organ in the middle. I highly reccomend you take a look at them.

But feedback is appreciated here, and I'm not gonna put it up for download until the song is finished.

UPDATED! :D

I added an extra half tempo chillout section to the track, taking it up to 2:23 in total now. I may or may not add a wobble bass to this section, I'm thinking I will as the only low frequencies in this part come from the kick drums, and afterwards, I'm thinking of adding a piano before bringing back the full tempo drums, bass, etc. Still not finished, so still no download.

SECOND UPDATE! :D

Added a dubstep bass to the track using a sytrus preset that Alen9R sent me- I appreciate the effort put into that 9r, cause it definatly helped me out with this track.
I've also got my dad to record a harmonica melody, which I then sampled. I continued after the half tempo bridge to bring back the drums, regular bass and organ, but I want to add something else into it. Still not finished, so it ends with a fade-out just to make it seem a little less sudden when it stops.

Final Update!
Added a second organ melody at the end, and ended it with the harmonica. Also adjusted the volumes to make it sound better, and put it up for download.

Description : *sigh* Several months after the experimental mixtape, this breakbeat/trance/chillout piece is still less than a minute long. Every time I try to go further, the composition seems to lose its energy and fall apart, like I can't make this track live up to the buildup that this intro has made. Any ideas?

One of my more complicated compositions, and one of the ones I'm more proud of, a ton of synth layers, and some nice sounding drums which I'm looking to develop too. Once I conquer the whole build up thing, this is gonna sound great.. until then, 50 second song anyone?

Thanks to N0mad23 for a great digeridoo loop which you can just about hear halfway through the track.

Description : I think that there aren't any copyright issues regarding this because the song was one of the deafult ones that came with FL, and I haven't seen any copyright issues before regarding the deafult FL songs, however, if I need to take it down then please let me know.
This is a very short demo remix of solidincs what I found. The mixing and mastering is way off, and would have been fixed if I hadn't lost the project file. I'm planning on remaking the whole thing by ear however, so there is still hope for this song. It's a little slow to start, but trust me, it is a DNB remix :P

Description : Just me having some fun, not really too serious, if you like it download it, if not then don't take it too serious.

Just been bored for the past two hours, so I just decided to try hip hop once again.. and drag Mozart into it too.

Hope you enjoy it!

Description : Hmm.. to dubstep or not to dubstep.. that is the question.

I already have a wobble bass in there, do I just need to carry that on, add a build up, break down, Fxs.. I could do dubstep properly this time?

Anyways, take a listen, its a nice little chillout track with some nice pads, my first attempt at using FLs send options in the mixer (Drum filter) and just something relaxing for once.

Hope you like the track, and merry Christmas!

Description : I didn't feel right about overwriting the original track with this remix, so I decided to make two seperate tracks.

Well I wrote this song back in spring this year, and I've been working on this remix for the past week. Has 8 synth patterns so far, no presets, all my own edited presets, has about 9 drum samples, and 2 or 3 fx's. And a lot of different patterns in FL. How I have been able to make it this far without my CPU making it impossible to work on is a miracle.

Hope you enjoy the remix!

Ste :)
