Description : After almost a year in the wilderness (well actually busy approving/reviewing other people's work on Dance Industries!), I've got round to producing my latest song in the ambientronica genre. Made with Jeskola Buzz and using an assortment of VSTs and native buzz instruments, I produced a work largely inspired by the genius buzz artist 'Shytan' who also features on Dance Industries. He has kindly offered a balanced opinion of this song on Buzztunes.org which has been helpful, and in particular his thoughts on my use of a sampled African 'Valiha' guitar. He wasn't so keen on it's use in this track and to be honest, I had quite a challange time-streching and pitching the sound to work at the 115bpm tempo. Any samples I used in this track came from www.Freesound.org.
Well I hope you enjoy this and look forward to any ratings and feedback regarding this song.
Happy listening, --Davey--

Description : A change of direction after 3 months away from composing, I've used Dub as the main theme, incorporating elements of Reggae, Trip-hop and electronica. We hope you enjoy this. --Davey--

Description : Composed and produced 3 years ago as part of my collaboration project with my brother Timbassman, Response 2 the Audiopath can only really be described as alternative progressive electro rock. Featuring many guitar loops and riffs by Timbassman and programmed synth loops and beats by me this track is somewhat different to the others by myself on this page. Enjoy the listen. --Davey--

Description : Another 'clublike' track from my 'Existence Meets The Surreal' album. Using some short female acapellas from the CC Mixter.org website, I've incorporated a powerful phat bassline with some intermittent FX and 303 lead synths. Hope you enjoy this.;) --Davey--

Description : A remix I made over 3½ year ago for a talented 'buzz music' artist called Magmavander. The original 'Feeric Jam' is an avent noir chill-out track with soulful and jazzy elements. I've given this an 80's prog. dance twist incorporating a rolling synth bassline, 80's drum-kit style beats and parmento synths to name a few changes....So, get ready to travel in your time machines and think of summer drinking booze on a Miami boulevard. Enjoy.... --Davey--

Description : The 4th track from my 'Existence Meets The Surreal' album made around 3 years ago, I've opted for a crossover breakbeat/ska style. This is an upbeat track containing little bits of rhumba and polka with some electronic sine sweeps thrown in for good measure - plus, watch out for the 'Tim Curry' sample!;) Hope u enjoy... --Davey--

Description : Composed and written in the late spring/early summer of 2007 and featuring as the opening track to my 'Existence Meets The Surreal' album. HWTNA is a follow up to the final track 'Story from the Last Age' from my 'Above The Plain' album and is a crossover of genres so I think that it fits into the Alternative genre. The song is basically about people who are striving to find happiness and satisfaction in their lives through commercialism and media advertising persuasion rather than through natural means of peace, contemplation and balance...Well you get the general gist! I really hope you enjoy this one and look forward to some feedback if possible please.

Description : A high energy track from my 2nd Album 'Existence Meets The Surreal' album, I decided on an uncomplicated structure and a strong beat and bassline to give this lots of dance appeal. Listen out for the 'Jan Hammer' synth hook later on in the track! Hope u enjoy, --Davey--

Description : This final track from my 'Above The Plain Album' had the most involvement of my brother, Timbassman as he composed and performed the acoustic guitar sequence, the main vocals as well as performing a spoken word text from the novelist Jorge-Luis Borges. The track itself ultimately tells a story based around the Borges text as it effectively has a beginning, middle and end. Out of all the tracks I've produced my brother thinks that this is my best track to date. Do others here agree? Enjoy the ride, --Davey--

Description : My experiment with the Tech trance genre where I've composed a series of atmospheric loops and a slightly off-set trance lead to generate a certain atmosphere which I'm hoping you'll enjoy. The spoken word sample on this song is of the laureate Dante and was performed in Italian by Timbassman. Hope u enjoy...

Description : One of my collaboration tracks with my brother Timbassman known collectively as 'Bassman 'n' Jones', the original version of 'Solar Funk' was written over 3 years ago but ended up a muddly and weakly structured version which got bad reviews on the Buzzmusic website. A year later I improved the song by adding an electro-progressive-house element to drive the track not only making it more funky but more danceable and a lot more listenable! The sung vocals, guitar loops and the minor 303 glitch edit were composed and performed by Timbassman. The main synth and percussion programming, spoken vocal, composition, mixing and production was done by myself, Davey Jones.

Description : The third track from my 'Above The Plain' album, this was composed in 2006. The original track 'Tremors' was written and performed by my brother Timbassman and is a short progressive rock piece lasting a little longer than 1:30. Extending and remixing Timbassman's track I've given it a whole new atmospheric dimension giving it a 'Pink Floyd' feel apparently. Hope you enjoy, --Davey--

Description : Based on the Half-Life 2 series of action PC games, Vortis is a piece experimenting with old and new skool elements. Hope you enjoy this and please feel free to review and rate. --Davey--

Description : The 7th track from my 'Above The Plain' album, Robots of the Future is a crossover of genres from dubstep to dark-tronica and from old skool to electro. Made using buzzmachines and an assortment of VSTi's and vocoders, no outside samples were used except that of my brother, Timbassman. I hope you enjoy this track as 'The robots are coming...;). --Davey--

Description : My remix of a track by Shiryu who is an established artist on the Dance Industries website. I've turned his eclectronica trance paradise into a hard-funked electro hi-NRG number.
Hope you enjoy and look forward to your comments and ratings.
