Description : Something i'm working on at the moment in Pro Tools 9, sorta inbetween the genres of Pop and R&B. it's not finished, some gaps and fills i'm not happy with at all. I still need to sort out things like EQ, Leveling, add Vocals, Effects and Automation, and a proper Master to name quite a few.

All instrument plug-ins were played or programmed in pro tools by me, no loops used other than my own.

I'm happy with the direction its going atm, Can't wait to get the vocals recorded when I get back to uni :)

Description : Something i've been working on in pro tools 9 for a couple of days now, not finished as of yet. just an instrumental thats not mastered or mixed with much effort on my part. Getting two of my mates to rap out the verses and a singer preferable a girl to sing the chorus for me. so eventually it'll be a colab between three other artists I know, with me having written and produced the entire thing. I'm adding a nice guitar solo/lick during the small middle eight break and i've also decided to stick to my guns and add a dubstep section which will add about another 40 seconds to the end :) also goin to be adding a different alternating drum pattern so it's not so boring.

Sorry for this mix being so god damn quiet! it's set at -6db because i was mixing through an old pair of monitor headphones that distort :( also pegged it back a little on the output master because I needed some headroom for the vocals when they get recorded in later on.

In short, something simple with a very simple beat and melody.

Description : Another DEMO I've started working on, i'm still currently in the ideas process for this track and i'm finding it hard to find the time to re-record the guitar parts. Soon I will finish this off I promise, also; i'm going into the studio with some friends to get the vocals done at some point (Perks of being a music tech uni student is the free studio time)
Apologies For:
~The annoying 14 bars or so of breakables at the beginning
~The messy guitar parts (It's just a first attempt for an idea)
~Out of tune guitar! (Internation Problems)
~4 bars of guitar clean riff before the chorus (R&B BEAT) starts shall be cut out to make it fit into a 16 bar structure, also at the moment it sounds like its intro, chorus, chorus, verse... for that i'm sorry :D
~Also this MP3 version sounds dire, The day looperman will takes higher quality formats I will drink into an early grave!

Samplitude Music Studio 15

Description : Something I've started working on recently is this song, recorded the guitar parts into Samplitude Music Studio 15 using a Zoom G7.1UT pedal board and the drums are midi programmed. It's only a demo so far, and I recorded it just so I could get the idea down on tape (I'd probably forget the riffs otherwise) A re-recording of all parts will be done when I finish writing the lyrics for the song.
Let me know what you think of the idea on a whole, and remember.. it's only quickly mixed and mastered so I could upload it onto looperman (I know it sounds naff already lol)

Description : Recorded this a while back just by plugging my electro acoustic into my soundcard, using just Cubase 4 LE to amplify the sound. added a a bit of reverb and tad of EQ to brighten it up. Just a short Multiple acoustic layering piece I needed to get down.
