Description : This is really a work in progress, but it's been haunting me. I can hear a melody in the open spaces, but I need to add it. The title will make sense if you listen to it. It starts with my own backyard. The (ubiquitous) percussion loop was made with household products, solely. I just thought that maybe if I went ahead and posted it, something would gel, and I could revamp and re-post it later. We'll see.
Description : I emailed Rachael, and she gave me permission to sample her Oh My Gosh video to write a song. I'm in the initial phase. Long way to go. Just thought I'd throw this up to see what anyone might think. My request: May I use the audio from your OMG video as samples in a song I'm writing? Response: Sure! Can you email it to me?
Description : Having read the Carlos Castaneda books, I thought I would take a stab at his dance with Mescalito, as I felt I have danced it many times, and still dance it to this day. It's basically confusion meets insight, meets understanding, meets affirmation. And it's weird, like all my stuff, right?
Description : I think all my stuff is a little weird, but I decided to do something truly "weird" for the weird genre. Using the crickets in my backyard, plus some of my own and royalty-free samples, I created this, um, thing. I'll do even weirder stuff, later. I'm just getting started.
Description : I wanted a tune to help me with my domestic chores this evening. Something that kept moving, quickly, in three movements, with rapid transitions that still held the piece together. This is what I came up with. I've been listening and working for quite a while now, so success in that arena. To embrace a "community" effort, I decided to add loops from no less than seven various artists here on Looperman for the final movement. They are - loopfreak, shortbusmusic, vidmeister, ceejamesbeat, rayzen, tr0y, and metik, in no particular order. Mega thanks to all! As usual, the genre is weird. As you know, I think all my stuff is a little weird. Just thought I'd share this very recent piece.
Description : A little out there, a little techno/house-ish. More weird stuff from me. Like I say, all my stuff is Weird, so I'm glad there's a category for it! I wish I had more time for this stuff. I really do enjoy it quite thoroughly.
Description : I made this little short a while back in Acid Studio. I'm working on some newer stuff, but I thought I would upload this one in the meantime. Not sure what genre my music falls into, so I just call 'em all "weird". That should do.
Description : I came here and created an account, and then downloaded some of this royalty free stuff and went to town. Props to Future Analysis. I hope your neighbors get evicted soon. You were the inspiration for this piece. Also, I love, love, love, love, LOVE the loops that were uploaded by Rose Erin and Rogue AI. You guys are the total collective bombs, and I bow before you in utmost humility and appreciation. "I am not worthy! I am not worthy!" But, I gave it a shot. If I left anyone out, let me know, and I'll update.
