If you have used this acapella leave some feedback or say thanks and post a link to the song you made. Apart from being the right thing to do it also encourages artists to upload more acapellas.
Thanks man, all of your uploads are great, Excellent harmonies .... right up my street...I'll try and mix all of them into one track if I can, thanks again.
The title is pretty uninspired, because it was part of an online Ableton course run by Berklee, but nevertheless I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
Will come back to it at some point.
Thanks for the sample and all the best.
Hi Jacques I was wondering if you'd mind me using some of your vocals for a hiphop track. I know they're intended for dance but these would work beautifully with the track I have in mind.
Really enjoyed listening and working with this pella piece of the set. Had an interesting idea to try out and liking the progress of it so far though am stuck. Wanted to share with you the idea I am reaching for, maybe you could help me find the right path to make this fit better to your pella and correct my usage if issues are abundant. Thank you for sharing with us, the voice and vocal delivery is great.
I know you haven't been on Looperman for a while, but I hope you'll be able to listen to what I've done with your stuff. i took your advice on how to modulate from the key of the first acapella to key of the second one, although I might have gone a bit deeper into the pool than you had recommended. :)
i hope you dont mind but i re-sampled your vocal sample and put it in a song im working on , its still a work in progress but i only had the chance to spend a day on it
ill definitely give you credits for your vocals and notify you when i finish the song :)
Jacques: I do understand that it would be discouraging to get so many downloads and only a few comments. if other members are reading this comment, please keep in mind that if we want to have access to really good material we do need to at least provide some acknowledgment and, preferably, feedback to the members who upload the acapellas and loops.
Jacques, I really liked your analogy of creating a bridge (sur le pont, d'avignon) to get from one side of la riviere to l'autre rive. But, particularly I appreciated your advice that it is a danger to go too deep. I think I've gone too deep in the bridge that I created, so I'm going to take your advice and re-work it. Merci pour the advice.
Jacques, I am curious about this acapella and the "don't keep your love away" acapella that sound like they were done by the same singer. The harmonies are similar, but the keys are different.
Were they recorded to be included in the same song? I am interested to know because I'm working on a track that does include both and I've worked out an instrumental passage to modulate from one key to the other. But, that's kind of unusual.
Chilli Gonzales worked out a progression that did the same kind of thing (better of course) on one of the songs in the latest Daft Punk Album. There's a Youtube video of him explaining it. I was wondering if you were doing the same thing when you used these acapellas in your music?
exactly eric , same women, the wife of the ingenering sound mixer for the locals FINKEL and FINKEL DEMERS PRODUCTION in my studio OF PRE-PRODUCTION , PICOLO AND VICTORS WERE THE 2 STUDIOS THAN WE USED, THE FIRST COME FROM A SONG NAME LOVE IS A WAVE , YOU UNDERSTAND THIS FEELING THAN I WANTED CREATE A NUMBER FIVE ON THE CHART, I USED THE SAME BACK FOR AN OTHER OF MY SONG MY LOVE IS CALLING,HER ON THE TRACK 5 SONGS FROM THE PAST TO NOW NUMBER 2 , BUT JUST THE OU OUS. I HAVE TO FIND THE ORIGINAL , I DID A TRANSFERT OF THE TRACKS BUT IM NOT SHURE. THE PROBLEMS FOR ME ITS ON CD ROM ,I USED A G3 WITH AN OLD SCREEN TV I LOST THE CABLE, ITS ALLWAYS THE PROBLEMS OF COMPATIBILITY, FOR THE BACK ITS AROUND 7 INDIVIDUALS TRACKS BY INTERVENTION, TO FORM THE CORDS ITS A HUGES WORKS OF BACK VOCALS, AND TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO PUT ALL TOGETHERS I GIVE 40 % OF THE BACK VOCALS OF THE SONG AND I DONT HAVE TIMES , I THINK THAN I GAVE ENOUGHT FOR THES PEOPPLES FOR + THAN ONE THOUSAND DOWNLOAD I HAD AROUND 10 THANK YOU SO I DONT HAVE THE MOTIVATION TO GO FURTHER WITH THAT, TO FELL HAPPY AND MOTIVATE I NEED COMUNICATION ,ITS OK LIKE THAT I DONT COMPLAIN , SO ,AT THIS TIME ENYA WAS A BIG SOURCE OF INSPIRATION FOR ME, AND YOU HAVE TO LISTEN MY TRACK OF 2 POP SONGS TO REMIX THAN I UPLOAD TODAY, IF I FOUND THEM I GONNA SEND IT TO YOU, BUT ITS A REAL JOB TO PUT TOGETHERS ITS SOUNDS REAL ITS NOT A VOCODER OR A PROGRAM PITCH CORRECTOR, IF ITS HAPPEN THE END LOF EACH BLOC HE AS IMPORTANT THAN THE BIGINNING, KEEP ONLY ONE S WITHOUT THAT ITS FINISH LIKE SHE'S HAVE A SLACK THOOTS PROTHESES IN HER MOUTH. IM RITHING TO YOU AND I'M LAFTHING, TO CHANGE THE KEY YOU HAVE TO CREATE A POND A SHORT ONE TO CROSS THE RIVER DANGER TO GO DEEP IN THE MARECAGE AND STAY THERE, IF YOU LISTEN ENYA THE SONG TIMES ONLY IN A DAY WITHOUT RAIN LISTEN THE MUSICAL PART AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE WAY SHE USED TO GO WHERE SHE BRING US AND THE WAY TO COME BACK IN THE KEY OF THE SONG, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE PROGRESSION, SIMPLE, FAST AND WONDERFULL, YOU GONNA SEE AND UNDERSTAND THAN YOU COULD DO THAT IN DIFFERENT KEYS BECAUSE WE TALKING ABOUT DEGRES
