Studied classical piano for 6 years. Played in rock bands throughout high school and college, first drums, then guitar and keyboards. Made a decision a long time ago that I wasn't talented enough to make a living doing music so pursued a "real" career, but never lost my connection with music. Haven't performed live for many years and my instrumental chops have dwindled away to virtually nothing, but I am having lots of fun (and frustration) using synths and sequencing using my Mac.
