Description : This piece is about the personality that we present to the world and the side we never see,the forgotten fragments, the old memories, the other unseen facets that make us who we are.
Another massive piece from you, this to me has a major Cinematic feeling about it, yep you have it under Fusion which is prob the right genre for it, as it does have a blend of genre's at times, sweet pads, great housey type of beat, only thing is the pad dropping out very quickly?? would liked to have seen it fade out rather then a big drop, as it takes away from the feel of the track when listening for the listener, as in what happened there...excellent synths and FX my friend, great arrangement and clarity of your mix...talented man....Fav'd...Peace n Respect Dave...Estefano....
oddly familiar. What was it... Think, think!? You didn't do a song about shoes did you? Or was that TheRealNiel aka SpacestationWagon? It's really trippy because it's like I can remember sitting here 'x' amount of months ago listening to the same thing. Dude, it's like I'm livin in both times, but the master/slave thing is goin on with there here/then. So it's like I'm listening to it in surround while watching myself type with like a little screen behind my eyes (and to one corner) seeing the memory. It's very De ja vu man. Isn't the penummy-nummy-peanut butter the thing in the ears that gives us balance? Later on mate!
you have really got a touch for getting the right sounds for the right feeling. but...what happened at 1:45 O.o the pad just stops?! whats up....down with that lol
I could almost feel the frustration and confusion of my past in this lol nicely done mate.
Keep up the uniqueness :)
God Bless
Steve
this is really really chill. i love the feeling i get from this track, its like im surfing out with a chorus or something. (probably didnt make sense haha) but anywayzzz i like it a lot and you really have talent. thanks for sharing
This was awesome. I thought for sure this was the fretless again, but apparently I was wrong. Your bass work is brilliant, it fits the song perfectly. You have some very serious talent my friend.
Again, well done on a superb track. I am going to favorite this, I love songs that can just be listened to and have your mind flow, and this is certainly that.
PS - I was thinking, and this may be a bit forward as I am a nube, but do you think a collab with 2 bass parts would be possible? I play a 5 string Modulus Quantum Sweetspot and a 4 string Epiphone Thunderbird (couldn't afford a Gibson at the time). I have heard a band from around where I am that have taken such an endeavor on, and it is very original. Just a thought, but if you would like, I would love to try and put something like that together.
Hey 36..thanks for the kind review...I've never tried a two part bass track before..yes I would love to try that..I'll contact you privately...cheers planet :)
Wow... you leave no genre unexplored, and excel at them all! This one's very nice. I especially love the addition of operatic vox and synths in this piece... gives it a certain lift. =)
Hi ya Planet,
This is one of your little older songs, but I liked it a lot as it has a nice relaxing feel to it. I have never tried any Fusion stuff yet.
I have all the tools for it, just that I am into country/rock more at the moment.
Anyways, nice job you did here in arranging it all.
Randy
Really cool track...soothing...like on one of those chillout CD's...all the elements in this are beautiful man...I wish I had your kind of talent...very impressive...
this is amazing......I can imagine it being used as atmospheric music for something like Cirque Du Soleil only the acrobats would be holding fenders......LOL.......excellent work
Great piece. I see why everyone holds you in such high regard on the site. Very mellow but with emotion. What really blew me away was the description. Could be a spoken word piece. Or just take the coments and find lyrics to express them. The sad thing about many people is that they take how they feel on the inside and judge it against how others act on the outside. Great piece.
hey thanks for the review and WHOA! THIS IS DOPE. keep up the style you portay in your music, it has meaning and depth to it. i lovethis one! how is australia?
Nice spacey sound, wouldve liked to hear less of that echo, kind of annoying. For the most part a well done track, sounds like something id hear on space station soma.
Wow, what a great sounding track, very mellow but quite haunting all at the same time, almost dream like at some points, I really liked the shift at around 1.45. Well played and well written, excellent. Watts
Great piece...evocative and full of emotion and wonderful playing. I LOVE this kind of music. Although as a "rock" guitarist I am not supposed to say so. Haha. Seriously took me all over the place and put me into a very meditative mindstate. Absolutely wonderful. Peace and Love, Six
a typical planet atmosphere painting, excellent and emotional as always......i like your color change at 1:45 min,it´s very significant......well that´s what i expect from 89 years of experience......so stay alive, cheers rob
Wow Dave! What a cool track. The drums sound mint, and your bass is just the best. Great use of synths to wash the sound and get that dreamy vibe. Mix and production are the best yet! Cheers Slap... P.s Is that guy surfing nude?
Hehe....thanks for the listen buddy..that's me on the long board!....this shot was taken many years ago (I was 16)and I'm not nude but wearing the Australian traditional speedo's,hehe you'd get laughed off the beach if you showed up in that getup now!..I still use a long board.I'm a sentimentalist I guess...cheers
You are a mastermind in the act of creating multiple states of sound and creation. Your creativity and ability to make these in depth tracks truly is rejuvinating and breathtaking to listen to. Keep up the good work my friend.
Thank you Briana..your too kind....music is just a form of language, but it's more subtle in some ways to speech..especially on the emotive side..I'll be visiting your page soon ..cheers :)
When you get all you want and you struggle for pelf,
and the world makes you king for a day,
then go to the mirror and look at yourself
and see what that man has to say.
For it isn't your mother, your father or wife
whose judgment upon you must pass,
but the man, whose verdict counts most in your life
is the one staring back from the glass.
He's the fellow to please,
never mind all the rest.
For he's with you right to the end,
and you've passed your most difficult test
if the man in the glass is your friend.
You may be like Jack Horner and "chisel" a plum,
And think you're a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.
You can fool the whole world,
down the highway of years,
and take pats on the back as you pass.
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
if you've cheated the man in the glass.

very cinematic, it was like the soundtrack to my dream last night
but that was styrofoam like ice chunks falling from a hole in the sky!..........Don't ask, LOL loved it bro! .....Johnny G.
Way cool mate!.....you got it!......my biggest impediment in this life has been me!....ps...I had a dream where all the clouds froze and fell to the ground
I love your soundscapes, and this one is no exception ...
music for open minds and music to open up minds, this is what you do, this is what I like!
if somebody would ask me to describe your music I would say every track is an emotional screenshot ...
Thanks rei....that's very kind of you....coming from a musician like yourself it means a lot to me....ps. my favourite television shows are Inspector Rex and Stockinger :)
Air intro, sounds big!Mellow beat...dream scape like playing with ones mood, very ambient like. The pad might need some toning down, think it needs to sit a bit back in the mix?? Defo feeling the drumming I can so see me use it for DNB tunage.Layered sounds with the pad works for me it just sounds a bit to loud in the mix.Overall nice track mate.
Hey Shamus...your absolutely correct!....I mixed this through my PA(should have used my smaller monitors)and over compensated for the greater bass response...won't do that again!,guess that's why pro's use producers....it's great to get other perspectives..sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees....cheers

Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.
Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
Description : A moroccan traditional song from 70s titled "Toudart" which means "Life" in Moroccan berber/Tamazight, revived and composed in a modern way, I used minor2go's piano loop which you can hear on the background, everything elese is from me.
