Description : Ok this track is completely Alexanders own work, the only thing I have done is mixed it and mastered it in Logic. He has used Logic 9 to record multiple saxes, piano, drums, percussion etc.. We recently invested our cash on a M-Audio Axiom 61 keyboard for him and wow this was money well spent. This piece of kit linked to Logic and in his hands is a serious weapon in producing great songs. Please leave any mix related advise! If you can hear changes to balance etc then shout out as this is going on the album which is going to be pressed this month.
I thank all of you for the support & advice you have shown throughout this album being made, your comments have helped me grow as a producer.
We only have one more track to finish now, so the whole album should be up on the Loop this week.
Cheers, Slap...

funkin great track ....I think you already have some big returns on that keyboard Slap...A special well done to Alexander..big talent on display for sure...I`m just listening to this one on a PC I use for internet etc Slap and commercial speakers but I`m hearing a really good mix...lots of air...really nice placement of all the instruments with the leads nicely up front...sounding like pro stuff to me...will crank up my studio pc in near future & giv it another listen....Wll done indeed.....Ed
Nice track! I was thinking it could be nice to end with the intro again, just an idea.
Love the organ and ofcourse the saxes but that goes without saying, the pianosound could be a bit stronger, not especially louder but it could use a bit more body in the chords part.
Description : 'Love will find you at the right time'...This track is about how we vibrationally attract love. From my recollection, in the early 20s/teen years, a typical place to encounter this wonderful force was the Disco. (Kay)
'I always wanted to produce a funk and soul song, as I love the rhythms and vibe. I hope you like my first attempt at this. Many thanks to Darren Hirst for his great bassline' - Oli.

Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.

Description : A Dark Funk tune , with a touch of Nawlin's jazz funeral procession. Midi-sparks asked me to do a Halloween song for his competition, and so here it is!
Description : Updated 12/2/2022. This is an interesting redo of a funky and fun composition. I gave it more polish by switching to a different drum kit, swapped the flute solo for a synth, then infused more flavor into the guitars, bass and organ. Then lastly tweaking the final master. Can you tell the difference? Let me know. Enjoy.
