Yo, what's up Spiv. How's it going. First, I want to say thanx for all those times you have listened and reviewed my stuff. You are one of the most active members in here and I think it's really cool you go around and donate your time to give your honest views about a track.
Second, I am sorry for taking so long to listen to your tracks. I see from reading your profile you have been around music and equipment for as long as I have. We even listened to pretty much the same stuff.
Now I see why are you so open minded. That's cool bro. Enough of my blabbering and let's get to this track. I like everything about this track. As I'm listening I'm wanting more of it. You have a solid foundation here and I think you should build on it.
Thanks so much for your kind comment! I would be very happy to collab with you in the near future! Just got a working studio computer, so the timing is right! I think we could make something good! I'll contact you soon!
This is one of my favourite pieces on the album. I really love the minimalist elements to this piece and I actually play it at work at the end of the day just to chill out.
I honestly think you should be more successful than Aphex Twin. Uber fantastic song that I haven't downloaded because I've got your album! Great, great work Sir!
This has me nodding my head and scrunching my face, really powerful beat and bassline that compliment each other superbly. As ever, a very accomplished track :)
Have you seen the movie Tsotsi? This reminds me of some of the music from that soundtrack (only without singing in Afrikaans). Sorta like a mix Tribal/Jungle & Hiphop. Def diggin the bass & synths on here (good contrast going on between them). Will def save/+1. Lates!
This is quite soundscapey in its aqpproach, definitely minimal, owes more to drumstep, than traditional drum and bass, like it and think it would be a good intro to a set... might just do it... wait for the sn 76 march mix on soundcloud where I'm gonna feature a number of looperman D and B tracks!
Sinister is the word for the bass. Nice low rumbling business that you feel as well as hear. Loving the kick and snare build up. Sometimes simplicity is very effective. I think this would work well in the chill out lounge after a drum and bass evening when people are winding down.
Some might argue that it is missing something in the beat department. But my thoughts are that it works very well as is.
Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Welcome to the world of Kay-0s!
Please feel free to download from kayos2.bandcamp.com if you want to support our work. Many thanks, Oli&Kay
Description : About five years ago I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:

Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...
Description : This track uses lyrics written in Morse Code, with tempo and pitch adjustments to fit. I’ve also programmed some Morse into an analog synth part.

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...

More successful than Aphex Twin?! You make me blush!
Thanks as always for your great reviews!
