Hiya, I love music and write both acoustic ukulele tracks and electronic bits and bobs.
Ukulele, piano, recorder (don't giggle, been playing it for over 20 years and I can ROCK OUT on it). That I don't own: crumhorns various, Glastonbury pipe, racket (they're all Renaissance instruments and are awesome), double bass (a little). Trying to learn accordion but I only have a dinky one - plus it was full of money spiders when I bought it off the market!
Audacity, Reaper, FL Studio
A webcam with a free microphone. Big spender!
I've just discovered chiptune! Yippee! Whenever I feel down, I pop on some David Bowie or Smiths. I love listening to whatever my friends are writing or mixing, makes it seem like you can get a snapshot of their brains at that moment.

...oh... I'll have to think about this and put some more on eventually.
Toxic Chicken - I want to write music that sounds like how I feel when I listen to his tunes.
Apparently, according to others:
Acoustically - Moldy Peaches, Victoria Wood
Electronically - Lily Allen
According to me - a happy schizophrenic (well I am).
Learning stuff like maths, history, physics, archaeology... Not towards anything, just loads of books and stuff. Love it. Knowledge is win.
