Description : This piece is essentially about the pain, happiness, sadness and joy I live with at the moment.
I've seen artists paint a canvas within moments in order to express their emotions. This is what I've tried to do.
I've spent a lot of time trying to work on track projects, and then "An Emotion" of some sort kicked in, and it just happened for me!
I hope that someone can share and enjoy something from this track.
From the album "Without Any Reason At All".

Mate read description first off, then listened to track, you covered it extremely well about the emotion, suiting title very well, love this piece, so much sadness with the string/pads/piano but also hope, very good clarity and arrangement, one of the better cinematic piece's heard for a while, mainly because of the feelings you have achieved in this one, brilliant man...massive fav for me...Peace Mos Formly ELSD...
More great chill out vibes from you!...I really dig those soft vocal like disturbances in the background....adds a lot of mystery to the piece....very fitting title because I feel the emotions emitting from this track, well done in achieving that....keep up the fine work brother!
I typically wouldn't go out of my way to listen to cinematic. I'm usually a fast paced house nut - but this has slowed me right down to a virtual snail pace.
I kinda get images of being under water seeing all these creatures go about their day in no particular hurry with a beautiful and serene back drop - which this track is :)
I believe everyone has already said everything,... the *only* thing I would have done differently is to transpose the piano one octave up to give a bit of a twinkle, and like Phyrius says, give it a bit of stereo widening..
I disagree with what he said about percussion though,.. not required in my opinion.
ok I am gonna be harsh here but I know you get me enough to understand were I'm coming from..
the stage is set nicely and you do deliver on many levels.. for me the bottom end needs to go up on your post effects EQ on your master channel nothing drastic just would like to feel those lows as well as hear them...
I have to say I kept waiting on that next element from about 2 minutes onwards ... a lofi kick and hats loop or something of that nature a textured rhythm almost..not a recognised drum but still recognisable as one...
the piano is beautiful for me you just need to add some stereo to it ... you can do that with some really really gentle panning brother and some slight reverb.. maybe even a delay to add to the length a bit..
where did you get that sfx? sounded like a tv on in another room being recorded... super good..
but having said that some very nice stuff I really enjoyed it...
Hey my friend, where have you been at? Thanks for stopping by and checking this track out.
I've always welcomed your technical input, advice and support because it's helped me so much, So, I gladly take your comments on board.
The sfx, is pretty much a hybrid of different sounds I recorded over a random audio snippet I purchased a while back, mashed through Audacity (man I love that software).
Really glad you enjoyed it my friend (off to see if you've added anything recently) Many thanks.
Love those whispering voices!!!
What a great sample that is...
In combination with the music I think I'm at 3000ft on a mountain... this touches me!
Ever heard of Vangelis? on of my favorite synth composers!
This sounds like Vangelis, very classical!
Hey TCAS, I'm deeply honoured by your comments and certainly unworthy of such praise. Thanks for taking the time to listen and review. Very much appreciated.
I agree with Leachim, perfect meditation music! This is so peaceful! You seem to be a master at putting emotion into your songs, which makes me look up to you as an artist. Very pleasing music!
Thank you for stopping by my good friend. I am glad you found some meditation qualities in this piece. I honoured by your comment. I'm trying hard to make emotive music. Big thanks.
I admit that I don't pass comments on here as much as I should, but after hearing this piece, I can only stand back in admiration of a master of emotion at work. You bring a serenity to this piece that I could only dream of making. A brave personal statement such as this should be lauded and applauded, as I am pleased see it indeed has.
Now I am going to have to work even harder…thanks:-)

cyber...i just finished listening to "an emotion" and i want to say to you that it is a beautiful piece...not structured just free flowing...not thinking a song but being a song...that is the core of you and the outlet was your music...that is essence of music...sometimes a song can define what you feel inside..i closed my eyes and let this piece wash over me...masterful...congratulations...lastly you don't practice and learn and evolve because you want to be an artist...you do it because you are an artist already.....peace
Wow! I am still amazed at how muzic can "exhibit" emotions, this piece is FULL of them. I feel the pain and sadness, so I'd say you've accomplished that end of it. Also perhaps some liberation.
While listening I felt I was being gently tugged from here to there. Nothing threatening, just a free flow of movement, going in different directions with no destination in mind. Meditation, yes.
Not tense, but emotional. There is definitely a stirring up here. I now pronounce you "An Artist"! Great job Cyber!!!! Oh, and thanks for the DL :-)
I remember mainly the intensity of this music.
You have made (like a painting, as cited) pastel colors and misty. No doubt, your current mood, but perfectly expressed.
The music to this gift, which allows us to this state of affairs, and we avoid talking to be understood ....
soothing, claiming and a peaceful/beautiful view im looking at thanks i need this after what happened to my file :/. Thanks for cheering me up with your music =D respect. Have a good day my friend. AD out
the spontaneity / self-portrait aspect of this track is transparent - but knowing that does enrich this listener's experience - echo all, it's a deep track made that much deeper by your state of mind and the approach taken.
there is a quantum 'thing' happening - i could not hear this without mapping it to the description - people will argue the value of this - i love the added perspective of a narrative guide, i never feel completely bound by it, but it mediates the objective/subjective artifact.
what i mean is this provides that abstract yet fiercely visceral connection that only great art makes.
Very nice, soothing. Good title, I think we all can feel some kind of emotion listening to this. Good meditation type music. This just lowered my blood pressure a couple hundred points, lol.
This is quite awesome, Cyberson. I practice Buddhism and do a lot of meditation, and the first thing that came to mind while listening to "An Emotion" is that it would be perfect meditation music. It kind of reminds me of being on a seashore when the waters are calm and the ebb-and-flow is ever so gentle. Well done, you!
Thankyou Leahcim for listening and your kind review. The fact that you and others can find something from this piece moves me in a good way. Many thanks.
Well this is pretty much the exact polar opposite of the last track you posted. That was really angry. This one says i'm all good, i'm chilled and nothing's going to upset me (even finding out that Eddie Sh**s the supporting act for the concert you just bought tickets for)
Tranquility i would say sums this up in one word.
I feel like going to the beach now (not Brighton though. It's filthy and covered in stones)

Yes, you are right FR. Definite opposite to the last track, but just as emotional though for me. I am moved by your insight to this track. Many thanks for listening and taking the time to review. Paul

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.
Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”
