Well, I actually like commercial stuff, at least some of it anyway. And I definitely liked this one. You really know how to make this kind of track sound right. And, the production sounds so good. I'd love to be able to make a track like this one.
Wow sorry for the late reply, must have missed it in my inbox!
Yeah the vocals took some playing around with, but eventually got the finale just right.. as for Mahloo doing a mix and master for one of your tracks.. why not ask him? The worst that can happen is he says "no" :)
I remember I made the track first n just happened across the vocal later n it fit perfectly... love it when things just come together lol.. surprised u still remember this one really
What a stunning piece from start to finish, thats me done, totally love what you have dont here, everything perfect mate...excellent...Peace Mos formly ELSD...
Never heard the original, but I can get into this remix! The synths are great, as is the mix and arrangement! Vocals aren't my cup of tea, but that's just personal preference! Keep at it man!
Long time overdue checking out your tunes, and I must say... can't stand the original, but your remix not only makes something listenable out of it; it makes it good. Kudos to you and Mahloo.
this is whats new and fresh id have to say...and im with shortbus and tumbleweed on this....im also no expert on house
music but i do no what i like in a song, and yours is the best
on the loop....peace...
Commercial is exactly what I was going for so I'm actually really pleased you said so.. :D
I really admire Calvin Harris's work and for you to say that this is better than the original totally blows me away..
If I want a bank balance like Calvin's though (which I do), I'm gonna have to keep on doing this kinda thing and pray to the God of Music for a break lol
Thanks a lot for your thoughts man :) Now on the way to return the favour
Hey WonKi...I`m a bit uneducated about the electronica genres including House...but when music sounds good my ears perk right up whatever genre you may call it...this one evolves really nicely...sounds good this Wed evening over here...and kudos to Mahloo13 on the production..everything is right there, nice & clear with all the life still in the sounds....great stuff guys....Ed
Oi Oi Wonki ! As ever my friend this is your sublime take on the genre. Respect mate, yet again you have made a professional sounding track. It's commercial but it works. Handbags at dawn young man, handbags at dawn. Well done Wonki cos you have yet again proved your total musical & producing talent.
Thanks for the kind review dude :) Commercial is what I was going for (and probably will from now on) so I'm glad you pointed it out really! I had to look up the meaning of the phrase "handbags at dawn" .. I'm still confused lol
Thanks again man, it's always nice to read your reviews :))
Epic track as usual. You've got mad skillZ, bro!!! You need to start getting your stuff to A & R reps so you can start making the mad stacks of cash (and hotties) your talent deserves.
But yeah.. once I get a couple more decent tracks under my belt I'm gonna start sending 'em out to peeps n see what the crack is. I'll get there eventually - I hope :))
i was riding around the site like i usually do ...and stumbled across a post from FreeRadical...it said to check out your newest track...since i've never heard you before..i decided to check it out...i'm really glad i did...Super track man great mix..Now that's House!!! say hello to your newest fan!!

Christ, I need to clarify my statement, "your "house" tracks are the only ones I will listen to....the rest just don't cut it."
I listen to all of your music, not just your house tracks, and all of your music makes the "cut" :) I will only listen to the house genre on your profile because most house music by other people loses something for me in translation.
So I guess I am saying I love your work and am a fan...hahaha. I'm an idiot :)
HAHA! It's ok, I understood what you meant first time round, but I can see how a less egotistical person than myself could have misread the praise for criticism lol.. ;D
But to answer the first post:
You're very kind to say I'm ready for the big time, I won't lie - it is a secret ambition that I harbour, who knows, maybe one day eh? For someone who doesn't really listen to this kinda stuff to say those things has added weight in my opinion :)
I hope you know your "house" tracks are the only ones I will listen to....the rest just don't cut it. So, that probably would mean that you are ready for prime time. If you can convert me, you can convert just about anyone.
I'm a house noob, but this one has all of the right elements sitting in all of the right places, an absolute A+ on the production side of things.
Bravo maestro. Freaking awesome. Good to see you back.
Well as already stated in your thread you've done a fine job with this. The sound is very "now" the quality is good and i think if you could get a bit of airplay with the stuff you produce you'd be making yourself some serious cash in no time.
I can't understand why you haven't been spotted yet really.

To be honest, this whole music making thing has only really clicked for me this year. I was listening to my collective works from the last couple of years and it's easy to see the learning "timeline" .. i.e - the shit I used to make compared to now lol
I've still got a lot to learn, but I'm really excited to see where this is going to take me in the next couple of years :)
Thanks for the words man,.. means a lot when you've got the support of your peers.
Now this is how it should be done. Nice work! The mix sounds pretty darn good as well! You might not have to wait to reach 43 years to take the industry by surprise like Guetta! Lol!
Loving the changes in there and the arrangement is really cool! Would be killer with a rapper in there as well to change the sound a bit. This is going in the favs!
If I get half the success David Guetta's had, I'll die a very happy man lol..
A rapper *would* be a great idea. If/When I turn it into an original song I'll be sure to put the word out.. Just need to find the right singer with the right lyrics first.
As for the mix, I'm glad it has your seal of approval! If you get bored/have nothing better to do - you can have the stems if you like? Just lemme know :)
Thanks again man

Description : Unofficial preview* of my upcoming first produced track named Therapy. Litterly a cut out of the track. Uploaded with first thought of letting it hear to a fellow Looperman member for a possible collab later on.
Comments are welcome tho!
About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
Description : My first house song (on looperman). It's actually mix of progressive and dutch house. Hope you'll enjoy this! :) If you have time you can leave feedback, it's always appreciated!
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : Funk House/Disco inspired by Daft Punk
No Samples used
Instruments:
Various vintage synths
Kontakt libraries: Ilya Efimov Telecaster for guitar, Session Horns Pro, Chris Hein Strings, NI Guitars
Vocals: Plogue Chipspeech & Alter Ego
Description : Melodic Progressive House with the lyrics by Mr.Shammi (visit his account here for incredible nice acapellas!). The ref is in Melbourne-Bounce-Style.
Description : check out janimifsson for these vocals
learning how to do house
good vocal effects
terrible drums
couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment
Description : Update: So this was the looper tune that started it all for me on this site. Hard to believe it was Over 10 years ago. This tune carries the ethos I bring to music...interesting, always change the genre mid-flight and you won't see what's coming next. Also cool to see the early comments and who is still around as well. (#Feeling retro tonight) Orig: Trance-step tune that changes direction a few times
Description : EDM song with cliche "Animal" drop. Let me know if you would like the big kicks, claps, or drop synth. (only ones I can give out) Key of F# minor. Made with Ableton Live 9 Suite.
It really is nice to hear that other musicians admire the work I've done.. there is no higher accolade in my eyes.
As for being able to make a track like this? I'll stop by your tracks later n take a listen to a few n see if I can offer some input.

Great job on the vocals!
(Gaaah I so hope he chooses my song to mix and master also...probably not going to happen.)
Yeah the vocals took some playing around with, but eventually got the finale just right.. as for Mahloo doing a mix and master for one of your tracks.. why not ask him? The worst that can happen is he says "no" :)

Your remix of this Calvin Harris track is great! In fact, I actually think it's better than the original.
Having said that, I don't think that "Bounce" was a good tune to be honest, too commercial in my opinion.
I think your work has much more to offer than Calvin Harris!
Commercial is exactly what I was going for so I'm actually really pleased you said so.. :D

I can only dream of producing such smooth polished sounding music.
