Description : This tune I am currently co-producing with an awesomely talented guy who composed the music. What you are hearing is my sad attempt at mixing for the purpose of uploading it here. The final work will be done by my co-producer's most talented and gifted hands. Let me know how you're diggin' it.

Coming back after four years, and I can definitely groove to this far more than I used to. Those antipsychotics really did a number on me, and things are different now. This is super cool man! Hoping to hear some new stuff from you! Great work!

RnB at its best. Much better than the genre nowadays. Only the vocals should be mixed more natural cause your voice doesnt need it. If i am not mistaken you used reverb on it. Maybe it is my kind of taste but reverb on a voice is not my kind of thing. Would love to hear the final version. Thanks for posting it!

Hello Mudhoen, and apologies for the delay. It appears I have missed a boatload of comments, though I am not sure how. Thanks for your critique and suggestions.

Man...get yourself down to the recording studio with your co-producer and don't come out until you've got this baby nailed down!..real R&B!..I can't believe it. lol....I have no idea what it takes to make a hit these days, but the source of what your doing here will never go out of style,a genuine vibe...and with all the watered down stuff around these days that's golden!...don't come out till your finished! haha
great work! cheers Dave

Thanks Carlos! Yeah, as I've said before I'm not very proficient with recording software...the co-producer of this track who is also the creator of the instrumental is handling the mixing process. I only uploaded "my" version of it to get feedback which will play a role in determining if this tune gets included in a special project I'm currently working on.

Thank you thank you, Bonita. I'm not sure what I'm am not doing but something is happening between the what I'm hearing on the lappy and what I'm hearing on the upload. I've done ti three times now, with the same or worse results. Vocals are clear and upfront on lappy...not so much on the upload. Sad face...but thanks for listening!!!

I really like the vibe! You've got a classic right here!

I do believe the vocals need tuning or maybe a couple of punch-ins here and there to fix the pitch issues, cause there are a couple of places where you go a bit off.

Otherwise this has a great vibe going on, John Legend/Ritchie kind of vibe...retro yet modern.

Good job!

You're FAST! Thanks Mahloo for listening and comments. Yeah, the vocals will be redone (I don't believe in punch-ins or auto-tunes). It is not quite a full song, but it's getting there.

Thanks again!

Description : R&B track inspired by Brody Brown's work on Bruno Mars' new album. Brown would be entirely unimpressed by this track, of course. He's a really fine musician. I've left the electric piano lines that are meant for vocal parts in the track. If ever I found a lyricist and and singer that could do something with this track, I'd produce a backing track version without those parts. Lots of room for a good singer to build on the melody ideas and make it their own.
