Edit1: Did a better master, I still think it needs some improvement but it's way better that the original track.

You're right about the master...
It sounds too muddy and some sounds just dissappear...
I did EQ'ing and maximized (on the master bus) but I probably overdid a bit!
The pad has an wide ping-pong delay to it... maybe that bites with the maximizer!
