Description : This is my version of Chris Tomlin's take on the classic Christmas song, "Joy to the World". All the instruments are played and recorded live, by me, and the drums were composed in Reason 6. This is one of my songs I play on Sunday morning at Church during the Christmas season. I load the tracks onto a Boss Loop Station, and play live acoustic guitar accompaniment and sing over top. ENJOY!

I like how straight forward the rifs and sound is. Bless you man. I will be using it in future SUnday School vids.

Thaks MP1. I have a version of "Our God" by Chris Tomlin that I will be uploading later as well. All the parts are recorded by me... and the drum parts have been programmed one beat at a time! I never uploaded it here cause it gets a little dry on the hard drum hits. It was a major pain in the rear to get down as tight as I could, so I just left it that way. I also like the roughness in my tracks because i am playing and singing over top of these tracks, and i like the little imperfections that make it sound live and not like a backing track!

Bravo Shemzee....a modern take on some of those traditional Christmas song is something we could use more of...but I have heard very few of the poppy versions that I care for...We have a native (North American Indian) church in our town here that lets the young people bring their instruments and music ideas to church...they rock it up pretty hard and it appeals to a lot of the young people (better than so many of the old traditional hymns that many find boring ...including me)....Good one Shemzee...A Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones......Ed

Description : I wrote this song about 25 years ago; a feel good Christmas song of my own.
Using 3 part harmonies during the verse and 5 part harmonies during the chorus; 2 and 3 part acoustic guitar harmonies during the "solo".
I am performing all except for Apple drum loops.

Description : This hymn, (also known as the Navy Hymn), was my wife’s grandmother’s favourite hymn. Wasn’t familiar with it. The Wikipedia article had an arrangement which I used for this track. Harmony is not my work, but the orchestration is. Made the track more as an exercise in exploring harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration. I realize this is not anything close to the norm of tracks here on Looperman, but it’s always good to stir things up a bit, right?
