Description : Just a test - very unfinished.
I used an older piano..thing that I made in FL in july last year and added an amazing fx loop from Kandago to it and some drums from boogieman, flute from lelandchapman and the beautiful tingeling piano loop(at 1:24) from Joefunktastic.
This is just an idea of a track to a friend who's a vocalist, if she likes it then I'll try to finish it.
The FL piano is a little too messy here I Think. Any thoughts so far?

Very Nice! Mobyesque again - very melodic with some good transitions. Transition at 1:10/1:24 is very good. Intro could probably use a little work and I agree that the reverb is a bit high. Keep the ideas coming they are always interesting.

Thanks for letting me know, Wayne!
Very appreciated and I sure hope my vocalist friend will feel the same and feel compelled to make a vocal line to this also. :)

Have a good day!

Hello ....

This is a good prelude, you should undoubtedly make to evolve. Maybe a little less reverb on the Piano part, give a more intimate feeling.
This is just my humble opinion of course.
I sincerely believe that in the end it will be a very good piece. Good luck for the suite.

You Always have good and kind things to say!
Thank you.

I'm also wondering what direction this would take, the drums I'm not sure about.
It should probably stay smooth and I'll try to avoid getting too eclectic...haha.

Take care Danke!

Tjena, SJ!:)

This "test" of yours sounds very (and I mean very) promissing!
Seems lots of things going on in there, particulary keyboardwise...can't wait to hear the finished version!:)

Good luck____Orlando

Tjeeeena Orlando! =D
Are you a Swede in disguise?

Yes, the FL piano is too cluttered at the moment, have to rework it. But it's great to hear that you like the idea so far!

Thanks for the encouraging words! /SJ =)

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.

After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
