Description : Another of my early efforts from January 2013 using Magix Premium. It is not great and have since lost the wav files to it so I decided to see what my fellow looperpeople think. Not even certain what genre it fits, its more hip pop than hip hop so have put it under pop. As usual your comments good or bad welcomed.

Very nice catchy tune, everything clarity wise sounds great as have come to expect of your works when reviewing, love the vibe of the vocal in this works so well with instrumental, Track has a pop house funk sound about which I am totally loving...Excellent work man...Fav'd...Peace n Respect Mark...Mosaic...
Always good to hear from you and your opinion is very valued so I am really pleased you like this one. Thanks as always for your honest comments, very much appreciated.
So, I think you are this incredibly talented mad scientist who is able to assemble these awesome tracks from loops.
Something I cannot do.
Really good work Mark, and I think the mix sounds pretty good. I have nothing constructive to add, just a big congratulations on a job well done. Tell Larry hello, hahahaha.
Well mad, and scientist minus the shock of grey or any hair is spot on!!! Thanks for the compliment and larry says can you teach him to play!! Great to hear from you Bear, and thanks again.
I didn*t know this is possible with Magix... lol! Nice one really, works fine, the vocal is really good, fits to the other samples well! Good work! Cheers!
Thanks for listening and your great comments. To me Magix is such a great tool for producing music, but I also use Dance 6, a great budget music making tool if you are prepared to work at it. Thanks again.
Hey you2,
nice Work, like the ambience around, wish i could listen to the one Sound fusing my Mind with the Track, travelling through my Brain, but that´s in my Opinion.:)
The Vocal´s nice and smooth, fits very good. Well done You2,
keep on
all the best,Destero
Big thanks, know what you mean and I learnt a lot from this track and comments like yours really help with the new stuff I am producing, thanks so much.
This is cool and funky mate, Love the vocal work, the music is excellent especially the wah guitar.
I like the way you incorporated a little bit of acid and there's some clever skills going on in this track.
I think this is my favourite one of your i've heard so far.

Thanks as always for giving us a listen and glad you like, there were a few bits in this that I messed up, but I still love this track too, thanks again.
Thanks so much for listening and liking, really very much appreciated, and yes there are couple of bits that don't sound as they should! Lesson about backing up WAV files learnt! Thanks again.
hey mark,
Stumbling across this track and this beat has totally got me
haha, but seriously though nice job these acid punchy basses sounded pretty cool though they both sounded a bit off like they should be timed a little different
Further the subtle use of the sitar and the strings on the background make up for a nice arrangement of different sounds.
I don't know for sure though if it's a sitar or not
Thanks for stopping and listening, and yes there a few bits that I would change if I was remixing or mastering again, but really pleased you liked. It is indeed a sampled and messed about with Sitar. Thanks again for your valued comments.
Hi Mark/larry .
as usual of yours this one too is a cool & interesting track .
who is this singer ? she sings so good ...a bit similar to our colleague Camilla alvey here ..
Mark has anyone told U ,there is an eastern taste in many of your traX?...but U compose more beautifull than majority of asian composers..best wishes.___B
Thank you as always for your honest comments. The singer is unknown to me ( I am still trying to find out who she is!) It was a sample from Magix and I just loved her vocals. I hadn't thought about the eastern connection before, but you are right having listened again to some of my previous, and a real big thank you for the kind compliment. Great to hear from you and thanks again Benham.
This is such a brilliant and simple track.
Loved the arrangement and that catchy piano riff.
I'm sure I heard a sitar in there! Loved that distorted basslike synth that comes in every now and then, gives the track an edge.
Sorry that you lost the original file. Know how you feel as that has happened to me a few times (computer crashing, accidental delete). Which reminds me, we must always backup our data! Right? - Blessing Mark. - B
Thanks for listening and spot on it is a sampled sitar!!, thanks for your great comments and glad you like.
I have started to back up files now!! I also have so many tracks labelled WIP that its time for a spring clean!!
Take care my friend.
Like many of us...you are likely your own harshest critic Mark...this is good stuff mate...I know...I listened through to the last note & enjoyed every funky hopping pop minute,,...an eclectic mix of instruments and nicely produced....keep them coming...you obviously had a lot of gems you were keeping to yourself....well done...Ed
A big thank you as always for your kind, positive but always honest comments. I am really pleased you liked and yes I have a store of earlier work, but feedback at the time was negative so I mothballed them and saved most as mp3's but have lost a lot of the original wav files. I decided to give them an airing on looperman so I could have some constructive feedback!!
you were right to say more pop than hip hop but thats not a bad thing in terms of pure musicality.
I rate this track for its diverse range of instruments used and that vocal is very nice too.
Not to mention it is ofcourse very catchy too. good potential here for sure
I join with all that has been written here, to confirm that this track is very attractive, and well mixed .... There is a lot of diversity in this production, and the addition of the female voice is the icing on the cake, if I put it that way ....
This is an interesting mixture of styles and it's pretty catchy. Reggae was the first thing that came to my mind, but ofcourse it's much more than that. There are even some eastern influences coming in at around 1:48. Vocals are nice here...who is singing?
You've made a good decision to share this on LM....it's a very welcoming addition to your Looperman collection!:)
Waiting for the next one...^^
Gosh you are so right with the mixture, I had originally set out to do a fun hip hop track, but then got carried away with various styles and only stopped short of putting the kitchen sink in!! Glad you like though and always look forward to your comments. The vocals were a Magix sample but haven't been able to find out who they belong to, I will though because they have a fabulous voice.
Very vintage felt track Larry...I enjoyed it from start to finsh except the short synth part from 1.09 to 1.14 which is in my humble opinion is slipped away a bit...
Super voice of the Lady and the instruments are on the top...groovy little chill pop...
Cool groove(s), it has it's dance beat and a reggae sort of feel at times with the scratching guitar. The vocals are great. The mix sounds pretty good as well, nice job putting this one together. Kinda pop/dance/hiphop.... it's good, that is all that matters.
Thank you for your valued comments as usual and I am so pleased that you liked it. 1.13, I messed with the vocal sample and came up with that, the same with 1.48 which was supposed to be a sampled sitar, but I came up with elastic band sound!! The shame is I lost the original wav tracks and haven't been able to replicate since!. Once again thanks for your comments, they really are much appreciated
Best wishes Mark/Larry!

Thanks for that, I didn't quite know what I was trying to achieve when I started, and still didn't when I had finished!! So glad you liked it though.
Best wishes,
Mark/Larry!
Gets quickly into that essential beat with those offbeat groovy piano stabs. Wah's a classic sound and vocals are relaxed and strong.
0:28 brassy chords are an interesting and unusual change. I think you've also got some high pizzicato stabs in here.
Quite an early 90s feel to this.
1:13 what is the vocally lead sound? Moves nicely with the beat.
1:40 with no beat it's still damn groovy.
1:48 which lead instrument is that? Slightly odd but I like it.
I liked this the more I listened to it and don't have any particular improvement suggestions.
Lots of other people will also like it.
Thank you for your valued comments as usual and I am so pleased that you liked it. 1.13, I messed with the vocal sample and came up with that, the same with 1.48 which was supposed to be a sampled sitar, but I came up with elastic band sound!!
