take the reverb off the kick or eq it so the bass is taken out of the reverb (cut everything below about 500hz)
All tue other drum sounds need to be eqed so there is nothing below about 120hz on snares and toms and around 400/500hz on the hats and cymbals put a low shelf eq on the bass at around 200hz and lower the shelf by around 3/6db do the same thing with the kick but at about 150hz
at this point you qill need to decide to either use a smaller less bassy kick or Cut the bass off the kick at about 50 hz.
or.....
cut the bass at about 50hz to give the kick room to sit.
also the kick is a little out of key with the bass. Solo'ing the bass and kick should allow you to hear if the kick needs tuning up or down.
That first part, the very first thing you hear when you press the play button and then continues to play until 00:50. Whatever it is it either needs serious filtering or just needs to be turned down in the mix. It sounds ok through speakers but with headphones it is actually quite painful. Other than that, everything else is good. The drums in particular are pretty cool.
Hello friend, sorry it took me song long to get to this. I must say that I have no problems with the mix on this track. I guess I like to hear a more pronounced and audible bass range, but it's hard to tell what the intention was here with the bass. The drums are very prominent and the frequencies are well represented in them. The stereo field of the drums is also pretty good. I find that the other instruments are fairly centered, though maybe wide in the sense of the effects used. Some slightly deeper panning might help. Sometimes when going for a wide sound, I will link the track to a send, pan the main channel one direction, and the send in the other direction. You can add effects to either channel or both then, and adjust the depth of panning on both until it sounds right. Panning all the way left or right can cause problems sometimes, so watch for that. Really it has a good balanced sound overall. I enjoyed listening!
I like it, I have heard your loops, and I was initially surprised at the conventional sound this track has, its almost like you took yourself out of the loops that you have made you a must for my kind of music, I am new here, I must say this one has potential, I love the echo effect that comes in later, but this needs to be understood, its not that it's not cool, its that you have maxed my head with the most awesome sounds ever, and here i find you just taking it laid back..its like expecting a bazooka and getting what is in my honest opinion good, but not what i expected from you your work is exceptional, you could have taken this to another level altogether..
I understand music only as a space that fills my head and thus after years of listening i know intuitively when i get the tingle up my spine that there is something beautiful happening here..I advise you to keep at it, you have moments, but sincerely,
Don't go by the book, if you want to, think of it as going jay walking, it will shock people, it will get you in trouble, but you will be the first one to know how it feels to take those steps out of a mothers womb towards freedom..
I liked it, your loops are awesome enough that i have a load of your stuff downloaded, I mean it, take your clothes off on your music quest and break every rule in the book until feel like you have left this world..this is pudding from a chef whose speciality is ass burning loops!
I have only just recently joined Looperman, before this, all my music i made using garageband, and i messed with every effect, never using a default setting as if i couldn't or wouldn't wish to be caught dead having a default on anything, did pretty ok..now i have two compositions, My Maya Angelou Tribute and Forgotten Holocaust which thanks to the Looperman loops masters i was able to develop and got appreciated for as well..Please do take some time to listen to what i like to define as Poet-ent Music as i use declamations in different languages to make my own kind of thinking mans music happen..keep doing what you do, but make your spicy stuff happen, this is like being inside a conventional drumset with echoes that hold promise. and you my friend are to exceptionally talented as a loopmaster..you can do better then this! https://soundcloud.com/omar-haleem-3

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : It is an elegy, in a modern world. There is fuss and there are sentiments. All together create a scenery where life takes place.
I really hope you like it.
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.
