If you have time take a listen and give WongKiShoo some feedback.
that'd be cool, but you have no tracks or acapellas up on the site showing what you can do? ... Do that, and then maybe there will be an opportunity to talk further :)
just saw this in your thread where you're looking for a singer and thought i'd check it out.
for what it's worth i think it sounds outstanding, it's full and rich yet light, powerful yet delicate, massive yet agile, it flows and pulls you along nicely to the pumping beat.
took me on a ride, nicely done.
and last but not least good luck and all the best in finding the right voice for this track!
Very nice man, shows that if you really are looking for good music looperman is the place to be, because you and other artists around here really make this place special :D
Quality track, I hope you find the vocalist you need. I'm gonna put a link to a vocalist that I have used on releases and many others as well, she is always open to offers and very professional. Hope it helps.
Commercial or not, I like the sound. To be honest I would love to try my hand at something like this and see what I can do if anything but I don't have the proper set up to do this justice ha, but I did want to say I really like it though, a good vocal track will definitely make this amazing. Best wishes with it and more luck to you!
-Charlene
wouldnt worry to much about the melody georgie my friend the huuuuge club track 'Tolouse' from a couple of years ago a chris brown track both lifted a straight sample/melody from a vengeance pack and had no problems so I wouldbt worry to much about it sweety ;)
Thanks for all the comments about the track guys n girls, was really chuffed with how we ended up getting it sounding. Still needs a bit or adjusting in the mid range its a little empty but untill we get a singer and see what frequencies we have left to play with its not really worth changing it.
Yeah I've done some digging around and spoke to reFX about copyright n all that.. they don't sue their customers so we're cool lol.
There's another track on youtube with like 3million+ views that is LITERALLY a sample lifted from vengeance repeated over n over n nothing happened to that guy either. Although he did get slated a bit for it haha
Excuse me while I do my little happy dance at this! Haha. I'm so excited and glad I found about this site and the talent on it! I WOULD LOVE TO COLLABORATE! Check out my song. It's available on iTunes right now and its on my profile "Jonestown Massacre" most of the loops in the beat are made from loops on here! I wrote and produced it. If you like my stuff as much as I like yours we could make magic! LOL let me know.
Yeah you are right. I believe you need a female, soulsister. You need a real powerfull voice and :) for sure some reverb over it .... in my mind i already can hear her sing. .... If i would sing on this cool track :) then it´s the end of this song in this style :)
Your stuff is always a cut above the rest so i know i'm going to like it before it even gets going. Smooth as silk mix with an easy to listen to summer time vibe. I love the synth work and dig the choice of EFX. Nice breaks and good arrangment.
I hope you manage to find yourself a vocalist because this track is just waiting for it.
FR
Thanks a lot FR, always means a lot to read your reviews :)
Yeah the ball's started rolling a lil bit more now, the lyrics are being written n a couple of singers have been approached.. should find out soon what's what :D
A really nice production. Great sound. Be sure to let us know here if this does get released commercially after you find your vocalist. I don't monitor the charts but it would be really cool to see something from a Looperman member on Beatport, or wherever.
This is amazing! The instruments chosen, the kicks, percussion, and everything else tie in together so well. The bass is very nice. The guitar licks in the various spots are very gentle which complements the track oh-so-well.
My favorite spot is probably 2:22. Around here, you had just decrescendo the volume gradually, then increased it, having that smooth come-back sound. The keys (I believe is what I'm hearing) is powerful and great. The guitar plucks also come in quietly but comes out gradually.
Such a great track! I wish you good luck on finding a vocalist!
I like it. I'm not into the commercial stuff so much so can't really comment on what it needs but I agree with the others that said some female vocals would round it out a bit. Great production too.
Hey George..shit you've gone commercial man (big pause) well done! lol I've always liked your stuff and ability,it's not on my particular side of the musical street but I know a quality mix when I hear it...I do hope you can find a suitable female vocalist, hell there's got to be heaps out there literally waiting to jump on the right band wagon,it really is the difference between a hit and a miss if you can place that elusive 'voice'on the right focused track it seems, plus House music is a perennial constant these days..all the breast mate! cheers Dave
Ha! I haven't gone commercial yet.. but looks like I'm creeping closer n closer :p
I always appreciate your comments, especially seeing as I know it's not really your thing. I would have thought that it would be easy to find a singer, but the one's that have been approached so far and showed interest - well.. it's pretty obvious that nothing's worked out yet lol.
i read the comment below and i have to say starting with something not his own and ending up like that....Fire. Really good, for me, it shows you have true talent and a ear for what is in (musicial way) right now.
Keep up the good Work. I'll definitely follow your channel
I really like this one and agree that you guys really need a good vocalist on this. I hope you find one soon! This probably could sky rocket up the charts if you get the right singer and the right exposure. Nice work and thanks for the listen!
You're not the first person to say that this track could do well and it's gratifying to hear, so thank you! It would be a dream come true if that happened :D
WOAH MAN, nice production, but you stole the melody from a sample pack, Vengeance Dance Explosion vol. 1 (construction kit Hold Me, 139BPM)!
From what I have been told, It's illegal to use the melody without using the original loop, what you've just did. So if you're going commercial with this one, make sure to clear the legal stuff ...
Also, don't you feel bad for not making your own melodies? :c
I usually do make all my own melodies but I heard that melody and felt inspired.. this was the result :)
There's been many a time when I've been listening to commercial productions and noticed vengeance samples in them.. so what would be wrong with me doing the same??
As for the legal stuff, it's not illegal to modify the sounds, hence why they provide MIDI files... but getting permission - that will be the first thing to get addressed if/when there is a strong enough vocal on it TO go commercial with.. until then, the CD's bought for me were expensive and I'm gonna use em lol :)
If you're curious to see what I'm capable of when I'm not ripping off vengeance why not check this out..
Description : Unofficial preview* of my upcoming first produced track named Therapy. Litterly a cut out of the track. Uploaded with first thought of letting it hear to a fellow Looperman member for a possible collab later on.
Comments are welcome tho!
About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
Description : My first house song (on looperman). It's actually mix of progressive and dutch house. Hope you'll enjoy this! :) If you have time you can leave feedback, it's always appreciated!
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : Funk House/Disco inspired by Daft Punk
No Samples used
Instruments:
Various vintage synths
Kontakt libraries: Ilya Efimov Telecaster for guitar, Session Horns Pro, Chris Hein Strings, NI Guitars
Vocals: Plogue Chipspeech & Alter Ego
Description : check out janimifsson for these vocals
learning how to do house
good vocal effects
terrible drums
couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment
Description : Melodic Progressive House with the lyrics by Mr.Shammi (visit his account here for incredible nice acapellas!). The ref is in Melbourne-Bounce-Style.
Description : Update: So this was the looper tune that started it all for me on this site. Hard to believe it was Over 10 years ago. This tune carries the ethos I bring to music...interesting, always change the genre mid-flight and you won't see what's coming next. Also cool to see the early comments and who is still around as well. (#Feeling retro tonight) Orig: Trance-step tune that changes direction a few times
that'd be cool, but you have no tracks or acapellas up on the site showing what you can do? ... Do that, and then maybe there will be an opportunity to talk further :)

Much love
You might want to throw a lead female backed by a "don't let her get away" male voice. Just a thought. Good luck.
- Memphis
A search is underway for a lead singer and hopefully we'll find one soon!

Wish you luck

My favourite part is also the breakdown at 2.22.. and you are right, it is keys that you hear!
I've looked at your profile and will be coming back to it later to have a listen.
Thanks for your kind review :)

Greeting RB
There is an saying in English - "Imitate and Innovate". I think that applies in this case..
The worst thing that will happen is that we are not allowed to use the synth melody in the chorus,.. in which case I will just make a new one ;)
Thanks again for the kind words.
