Welcome to the Loop Ether Blu! I have never heard the original but if it sounds anything like this than that is great as well. Great job mixing in the vocals, they have some cool effects as well. The production is excellent, very impressive track.
Enjoy your stay here, look forward to hearing more!

Hi Mr Ether,
I join the others in welcoming you.
And I cannot help saying that this is a real gem.
I don't know anything about EDM but I really enjoyed this track. As stated by DjSLT with such a slow track everything must be carefully handled to keep such level of clarity and complexity.
And you really did an impressive job here.
Liked it. Liked it a lot.
Ciao, Domenico
I don't normally listen to the fusion genre much, but I really enjoyed this track. This song reaches professional standards and that is a huge accomplishment! Considering this is your first track on looperman and it is already becoming a huge hit, makes me curious and anxious for what you have in stored for us for the future.
Great mix, awesome vocals and love the atmosphere. I give this track a 10/10, terrific work and can't wait to hear more from you in the future! Take care for now!
Thank you so much Modnex!! So glad you liked my track which belongs to the genre you don't listen to much! And yes, i have already started my work on my next track and before that, i'll be uploading some of my old work too.
Really appreciate the kind words... and Thanks again!
Very fine music. I remember listening to this song the other day and I really enjoyed it. This time is no difference. I love these eastern sounds you merged into the composition. Your production skills are very impressive. Best to you, Alex
Thank you so much Brother! Really appreciate your kind words! I Wish it was my composition, i have just reprised it, Credit for the Original song goes to Above & Beyond :)
What a triumphant song!
I dont know nothing about the original but this is really awesome stuff.
The production is flawless.
Its amazing how all the elements interact with each other.
The indian sounds really give an distinct aura to the song.
I am sure you'll equally love the original track. Glad you liked the Sitar (Indian instrument) part. I wanted to combine both Indian Classical with EDM sounds... so this is what i have come up with.
This is absolutely beautiful and gentle. Powerful message, with professional-like instrumentation, as well as great vocals are all within this track. I can't see a single flaw. The different elements put within this track is beyond outstanding. I encourage you to continue this, my friend. I couldn't fav this quick enough. I feel this should be heard world wide. In general, especially in the media, love isn't seen or displayed as it should be. But this usage of love in this track is very positively displayed, and without a doubt, perfectly displayed. Beautiful work, comrade!
Thank you so much for your kind words. It has definitely motivated me to come up with something better in future. I will definitely continue working on music (as i dont know anything else)... Anticipating your support on sharing this track.
I see you just joined Looperman recently...so a big welcome to you EtherBlu...its a great little community of diverse musicians...and what an intro you have posted...you obviously are an experienced musician and producer...this is a great mix...with all the dynamics intact and clear as a bell...fantastic work my friend...much enjoyed over here in my part of the planet....a big well done to you.....Ed
Thanks galore for such a warm welcome Tumbleweed! And yes its indeed a great community, and its great bcoz of all you musicians here. Appreciate for the thorough listen my friend... and thanks again for the wonderful words!
Those kicks and percussion is genuinely beautiful. I love that there is a slight lo-fi element to it in the beginning.
The vocals are stunning and harmonize with the track well. The lyrics too are touching. Great, great job!!
Glad you felt the emotion in the song Ocean.. and special thanks for noticing the lo-fi element. And appreciate your beautiful comment! Credit for the great vocals goes to the great Richard Bedford.
Hoping to touch your heart with more music soon! :)
Your mix is excellent. I like the low-end and how it comes through without overriding the rest of the frequency spectrum. Something I did find interesting, though, was that by playing around with the levels at
90 Hz (with a Q-factor of 3.97)
310 Hz (w/ a Q-factor of 3.38) and
810 Hz (w/ a Q-factor of 2.88)
helps to improve the overall clarity and juiciness of your mix. For instance, playing around with the 700-850 Hz really helps the vocals stand out in the mix while still remaining nicely balanced with the rest the other instruments. While it is only a slight change, I think it boosts the overall power and clarity of your song and would consider it at least worth messing with! Cheers and great job!
Firstly, Thank you so much for commenting. Really appreciate the efforts you took, just to make my track sound better. I would love you to try something out and send it across. I'll be eagerly waiting for it. Checking out your mixes in a while.
Thanks Galore Venus! The Idea was to transform a heavy EDM number into an ambient & relaxing track.. I am really happy that you heard the track the way it was meant to hear! :)
Hi,
Fantastic intro to a fabulous track, awesome vocals, very clean and neat bridge at 2.10, and the sitar sounds coming out of it was inspired. Above and Beyond are fantastic EDM artists and I reckon they would be over the moon with this cover....brilliant work and look forward to more.
Very best wishes,
Mark

And I definitely look forward to produce some more music for you beautiful people!
No brother! That's Mr. Richard Bedford's Acapella. But apart from the vocals, everything is done by me! Hope you liked the Music too! Thanks for commenting!
Thank you so much Danke, Thank you so much for your kind words! Really can't express my gratification. So glad you loved the track & Your comment, really really made my day!
And yes, the credit also goes to Richard Bedford & Above & Beyond for coming up with such good vocals & lyrics which inspired me to create this track.

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.
Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
Description : A moroccan traditional song from 70s titled "Toudart" which means "Life" in Moroccan berber/Tamazight, revived and composed in a modern way, I used minor2go's piano loop which you can hear on the background, everything elese is from me.
Description : Found some 70's funk drum loops that I liked and added some funk horn loops. Then I found some effects and percussion loops that worked well with the bass loops I found. Yeah, all loops but 1 vocal track of mine. :) Funk/fusion? Might be cool to have some hip hop styled vox on this, any takers?
