Description : A very good friend of mine sent me this track, not long ago
I really wanted to try and marry, Jazz into this Disco and
Techno thing going on in this track...
Some real Fusion For Yea...
Bass and Guitars done by Me just having Fun...
Hope you all enjoy...
This one brings me into the atmosphere there is in a modern hotel lobby. There are many places in Stockholm, Sweden playing this kind of fusion music as background music. good work!
it all hangs together really nicely. it is good to explore the quieter end of the dynamic/emotional spectrum - there are subtle touches here that I really enjoyed. nice job.
Thanks Man...
I'm always looking for the different side of thing, with in reason...
Our history is intertwined so why not our music, just works for me...
Thanks Man, I was just messing around with this and locked into
something that I like...
That is why it's all music to me, it feels good and moves freely
and it is what it is...Dancing in the 70's...
Glad you enjoyed the track and commented kindly...
This sounds fantastic TG. Even though I read the description the drums still surprised me. I was half expecting real drums from hearing the sweet guitars and bass. Thought the kick could have been a bit beefier but it's no biggie, probably more of a personal preference than anything being out of sorts. It def sounds like something from the 70's.
Yes my friend Omar: He did the bed track, so the drums are what
they are... :)...I didn't want to change the harmonics of the track
so I left it as is...
Dropped the Guitars in and tried to put them, in a good place in
the spectrum with just a touch of efx...Keeping it clean and simple...
I agree bass drum sounds strait out of a disco joint back in the 70's
Donna Summers would have loved this groove...Hahaha...
That is why I did a jazzy kinda thing with it, all though you can't hide the 70's in a track, you can try to do something else with it... :)
This seems more sideways now, the adds I've made puts it more
where I wanted it to be...
Thanks again for stopping in, glad you enjoyed it...
Hey TG...its just the right kind of stuff that I could sit at the back table with a cool one and listen too for a long time...I think you accomplished what you were after....I spent part of this afternoon trying to marry up some world instruments (from gawd knows how many of our tribes on this wee planet) with some 4-4 kick backing & bit of other things...synth bass...my usual freakin guitar etc...damn but its fun...and I`m guessing you had some fun with this one...I enjoyed it my friend...and I appreciate the creativity that goes into to challenging oneself to do something that doesn`t fit in some genre box...(I hate genres for creating anything...I use them to look for music I like I suppose)...keep on...you do it well......Ed
I hate genre box's and everybody tries to put you in one, guess that's
the fate of mankind born free, into it all but spending your life being
placed in box's...Even the day you die, they've got one fitted for you
what a drag...Nothing but some Music to me...
That is a big task you've taken on, the time thing will always work
it's the styles, that make it hard to come together..But can be done..
Good Luck... :)
Thanks again Man for stopping in, glad you enjoyed the track...
definitely not a fusion. not at all. it requires only a skillfull producer (and a little bit of haunting female vocals addition) to become a perfect radio oriented chillout. For now it's only a sketch.
but very interesting guitars on this one - I thought some real-time played effects can make wonders. Still it all feels like being quite disconnected - not really playing but just wondering....
Well the fusion comes in fact with the combination of jazz-Disco
with a little bit of funk on the bass...
So putting all 3 flavours together makes it a fusion, but music is
just that Music...
I don't know any female vocals that are out here, with the mind set
of thinking differently...
They all almost sound the same, auto tuned to death and lack the
tools to create their own sound...
I'm done trying to make someone sound good, when they don't
from the start...
This track I added some toms and cymbal crashes, gave it a lot more
cohesion and feel...Not sure if I'll post it here yet...only because it's
ready for something else...
I think it's a cool mixture of the different styles. Some true to the meaning of fusion a deLight mix here. Some smooth guitar fun man, I dig it.
As is its good, still sounds a little bit empty.Maybe from time to time in the mix it would be cool to add one more piece of variety to keep grooving more lively.
Good efforts and fusing to sounds TG. Thanks for sharing. Peace.
Not easy to put just the right feel to it, with out it feeling stiff
and clinical...It was just fun...
I agree I had a few other guitars in there, couldn't make them dance
so I dropped them out...
Got a few other things on the go, got to get down on them before
the summer wind blows... :-)
Thanks for stopping in and your comment:
Peace...TG.

Description : Now on youtube: youtu.be/0RYfA4iCsSA, soon out on my upcoming album "Step by Step"!
==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.
Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
Description : A moroccan traditional song from 70s titled "Toudart" which means "Life" in Moroccan berber/Tamazight, revived and composed in a modern way, I used minor2go's piano loop which you can hear on the background, everything elese is from me.
Description : Found some 70's funk drum loops that I liked and added some funk horn loops. Then I found some effects and percussion loops that worked well with the bass loops I found. Yeah, all loops but 1 vocal track of mine. :) Funk/fusion? Might be cool to have some hip hop styled vox on this, any takers?

None intrusive flow feeling, like moving at everyones pace...

to it... :-)
Yep...Glad it felt good to yea..
Peace...TG.
The cool little simple guitar solos are lovely!
That bass is nice and crisp, stands out without being too ferocious.
Reminds me of the video game "Gran Turismo 6" when you're sitting in the lobby area, they always play songs along this line of genre, and I LOVE it.
Still digging that guitar solo. So simple and yet sophisticated.
Great job. Simple is sometimes the best way to go. Very catchy.
Good job on this one soundhound. Still digging the profile pic btw :-)
