Description : UPDATE: Anyone want to remix this? Think there's potential for a really cool electronic/dance remix. Let me know, let's get something going. I have all the individual tracks.
ORIGINAL: My dad got very ill about a year and a half ago, and one night with him in the hospital I wrote this song about all the lessons he taught me. A drummer, I was luckily enough to actually get him to play on this song with me when we recorded it last year for my new EP.

Emotions and talent have a way of producing great music...moving lyrics, perfectly delivered with heart and in my opinion perfectly accompanied...there is something special about a good song and acoustic guitar so while its good of you to offer the tracks up for remix etc I like this just the way you have done it.....definite fav austinmusic...well done...Ed
Thank you so much, Ed. Really appreciate the kind words. I like this original, of course, and this version isn't going anywhere. It's been out for almost a year now, and I've been putting out new versions of every song from its parent EP. While the other ones lent themselves better to a more stripped back working, I think this one could make a really cool electronic track as well.
A nice mix dude! Love the keys sitting in the background. You have a nice voice and the backing vocals are spot on. This works in the Folk category as well.
Hope Dad is well, cool that you guys did this. Hold on to those memories forever.
First question above and beyond the music. How is your Pop doing. Is he OK now? What a great thing you have shared together...the creation of music. The Bonds of Art shared. This tune brought a tear to my eye this evening. Thanks for sharing this one and don't change a thing about this one. The rawness makes it more powerful. That being said and removing myself from the emotion for a minute to talk music.
The only thing I would do different is maybe clean up the individual tracks with eq and compression and panning and maybe end with an acoustic guitar coda from the beginning opening bars so we don't have such an abrupt ending shouting "hold on". that coda will give the listener a moment to reflect on the emotion of the piece and add some hope instead of hanging on fear and desperation.
Truly a great listen this evening. I am glad I clicked on it

He's doing pretty well right now, thankfully. Constant battle but we're always looking up. And thank you so much! It was a special track to do, for sure. And definitely some things to think about for the next version, I like that idea about the ending. Glad it resonated with you! Thanks again!

Description : This one has been sitting on my computer for a bit now but didn't really like it. My friends say it can use some vocals and I think that is what this one needs. If there is anyone who wants to put some vocals on this, send me an email at .magic41151@yahoo.com. or post below. Thanks for tuning in and have a great day!
Description : Based on excellent track by BradoSanz (nothing compares instrumental). I've added an intro, many sliced up vocals, audio effects, and some electric guitar. Includes loops: Holly's Within your soul, and 40A's Unstoppable.
