This link is to an entire remix package.
If you post a remix, let me know and I'll take mine down for a while to let yours be the only featured version :D
Michel
Merci bien!
There's some really good music in France IMO, especially Jazz. Rap here is (T)painfully autotune addicted at the moment. I was very happy to hear Abdess use his voice straight to mic like that. He's good in the video too. :)
I'm outside of Lyon right now, but you know the population all around is stressed from hate crimes here lately. It's a good time to make music at home!
If you are in France too, maybe we can start a private thread and talk about music strategies. :D
Without exaggeration, this is the best song I have heard on this platform so far.
Sounds very professional and I love the vocals. Especially the French part.
In Germany we start the second lockdown on monday, so I think I will listen to this again in the next couple of weeks :)
Keep it up and stay healthy!
Thanks JaiFk!
That's a super nice compliment. I assure you there are better musicians and tracks on the site, but I'm taking the compliment for the moment! :D..
I don't like being cooped up like a criminal, but I'd rather not contribute spreading Covid to vulnerable groups and over running the hospitals for emergency room visits and etc.
I can happily suffer a little for that cause!
Thanks! You know it!
We have a new confinement as of midnight last night probably until January. Luckily I had a second covid related track almost done last confinement but put it aside because I naively thought we were done :D.
I'm off to write myself a permission slip to leave and buy beer (not joking!)
Ooooh! wow! this is super dope! love reggae and as i'm drinking my herbal tea here, I'm vibing to this, no spills lol...but yes! sir this is AMAZING! stuff indeed. Splendid work boss...Salute!
Description : Music composed by Alex Richard and Laurent Wirz. With: Hanspeter Dubach Lead and rhythm guitars, Alex Richard Bass and rhythm guitars, Claude Barbotte Hammond organ, Joël Perrin Saxophone and me at the drums. The two grooves I used for this one are to find under Loops and Sample, member laurentwirz, reggae. Also an excellent loop from member ebae. I have to say that I asked Michael Mayo before publishing it but I received no answer yet. It was pretty difficult with his acapella because it's a pretty short loop with not a lot of words (for an almost 5 minutes track)! You can ear also some background vocals from Patricia Edwards and I hope it's okay for her.
Description : Guitars, keys and vox by me. LM drum loops 130_Dagger_Live_Drums, 23sk-drums-reverb-spring-roots and alabafruit. Horns from Loopmasters dub and reggae horns sample demos.
Description : This track contains only free loops from several Looperman artists. I think one of my best works lately... but wonder if it's ok with headphones too - there a lot of very rough cuts. Enjoy!
Applied loops (fully or partially):
Description : Richard Shekari and I worked on this project earlier this year. I play bass, guitar, banjo, dobro and also sing on this. Richard added a cool harmonica sound and has an amazing voice. I have learned a lot from him, Richard produced this track.
Description : A quick idea I did in one day, 2 mixes, more an exercise for myself than anything serious. Inspirations were a Peter Tosh docu for the reggae feel, a surfing vid on what a point break was for the vox, the Ace of Bass vid The Sign for the drums and Jaco Pastorius song Crisis for a bit of inspirational bass thrown in. 2 drum loops used and a vocal effect loop for the heck of it in the middle, he. Live percussion, cabasa, guiro and double maraca. Me on git, bass, vox. Here comes Summer!
Description : Reggae/Hip Hop BeaT....!!! This is the FisrT Track on that Style I made...!!!, Hope you Enjoy & Keep on PLAY!!! Made on MixCraft 7 Pro...!!! https://soundcloud.com/goty-beatsproduction
Description : This is the 4th cover of Big Audio Dynamite i done in collaboration with a friend who live in england. We both fan of the band so we decided to do a challenge and produce a serie of cover. we done 4 in one month. each track got it proper video check my youtube channel indiegroundvid
Description : I uploaded the vocals in 2012, Soap BRILLIANTLY produced this track around them. I was listening and thought I'd share as well. Don't forget to stop at his place and leave some Looper love! Enjoy!
Description : NEW - 2014 - I used a few samples from sterixx called riddim.
And one from seanmccuaig called vocal beat.
I used some lyrics from an older song by myself. It was more a dark wave song befor but i realy enjoyed it to sing and produce it in reggae style.
Hope you enjoy this version also.

The line up is really great. I was lucky to know such talented and driven musicians to work with!

I am well fitted into my apartment for the confinement. Mostly we are following the rules and trying to slow infection rates.
:D
