Track on fire. You can never go wrong with Mark on your Drum tracks. Powerfull Fusion. Great AX playing. Liked the way the track moved from beginning to end. Guitar picks up to you on this one. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Salud y paz.
U guys are on fire. There's some tricky sounding timing in there, like that section that starts at 1:10. Jynx keys are crazy, love that organ sound. You guys sure know your stuff, it's great to hear.
Now, this type of fusion works really well and cannot be called a mashup. But I love the jazzy side of this. Really amazing work man. I could dig this tune all day. You got the right idea when it comes to great music. Excellent song.
Whats crackin my boy?
Swifty track .35 nice i like that sound. Groovy track guitar runs where great. To see this performed live would be awesome. U mixed?
Mixed and arranged (wrote the chords progressions and outlined the parts). The solos are all improvised.
It started as an example to explain that you could have a melody using unrelated chords (just ask Kurt Cobain), and it turned into a song.
I listened to a bunch of you stuff. You have gone rap accompaniment crazy, but you're nailing it. I have two projects with the content you provided a while back in the works. I've arranged one, I'll get it on here soon enough.
I agree with bananalu on the shaft theme this is a banger doom, real funky stuff with great instruments, funk is the music that brought me to streetdance, great job mate and great production
Thanks. I don't normally spend more than a couple afternoons on any one project, so dealing with the logistics of "bandmates" and their various parts was a new experience for me. I appreciate the props.
Woo Hoo Fa Fa funky - great start that really draws you in and then a brilliant musicianship and jazz funk masterfully mixed and with spot on production sound. The transitions and features from guitar and keys and sax are all superb : )
Thanks. Jazz/funk is about the only place where I can find musicians that don't mind when I flex my music theory muscles. The song is called "tricky business" for several technical reasons, a kind of inside joke.
Loved it and was drawn to the tight arrangement. Fusion always soothes the soul, I believe. Mix and recording on point. Good musicianship also. Keep em' comin' bringerofDOOM Peace and good health DDC
The Mix is funky munkey clear. I now know what you mean with mid eq. What i really dig is the fact that is sounds like a shaft theme but in modern. I like your work, this is truely something special and i really like that organ play with this circus entry melody turning into rotary orgasmn. The tone of guitar reminds me of Carlos Santana. I like this shit. there is a lot of themes and rhytm is on point. Nice Production , i can really get something out of this. Hope there will be more live music from you. I download and try to do my best Jim Morrison/Anthony Kiedis shit on it. Im now more a fan of your work McDoom. love from Germany

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : It is an elegy, in a modern world. There is fuss and there are sentiments. All together create a scenery where life takes place.
I really hope you like it.
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.

Thanks, was a pleasure as well, glad youare here to help "class up" the place :D
Thanks for listening.
Thanks for the listen. Similar collaborations to come.
And the contrarian in me would call this a mashup of jazz, rock, and funk :P
Thanks for the listen and kind words.

Also, I could use more wub dubz...TTYL
Thanks for the listen and comment. This one moved the bar for me, now I gotta step up my game from this point forward.
Hopefully similar works to come.
You've all done a great job.
Well done.
