Description : Found some 70's funk drum loops that I liked and added some funk horn loops. Then I found some effects and percussion loops that worked well with the bass loops I found. Yeah, all loops but 1 vocal track of mine. :) Funk/fusion? Might be cool to have some hip hop styled vox on this, any takers?

Wayne, yep! Ok the highlights for me happened at 0:41 where you really dug in! 1:08 and the 1:32 groove! You got me with this! This made my day! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Had to look up who you were talking about, had no idea, lol. Checked out some of his material, i heard a hint of why you would mention him. The only thing is, he knows what he's doing. :)
HUGE !! Have you changed your style?
it seems to me to remind me that you were more in the rock of the "sex pistols", your reconversion on this piece is excellent!
good work wayne !!
Michael
Hey Michael, good to see you around with some new tracks!
No I haven't changed my style. Just trying to mix it up a bit, get some new ideas stirred up in the old grey matter. Every so often I'll take a little break from the folk and rock stuff and search thru Ableton for some interesting loops and sounds. Plus I threw my back out and couldn't sit and play any instruments comfortably.
What a funky munkey track. I hear djungel elements mixed with other electronic sub genres, to many to count them all. You mixed them really nice into an urban expression of raw energy. The intro is a smack in your face. I like how you confront your audience and showed them what this track gonna do with our. hearts. Break at 1:15 is a well balanced and freaky as hell, you let us rest in a restless mind. I want to hear more from you, this one is for rave under the bridgde.
Hey Wayne,
what are doing in the last time. It´s incredible what you bring. New journeys, very musicaly and the sounds are also great placed. I like the old feeling in the new sound it makes it cinematic, like i read, Tarantino style. Again a great job. Well done.
Greetings
Matthias
very cool retro kinda funk/prog/trip hop stg ... the mood is just straight from one of a Tarantino movie ... the special is that belching from 1.08 :-)
handshake, Danke
This is quite a piece of work man, every time I thought I had it pegged it shifted on me in terms of genre. This could go all sorts of ways. Very cool indeed.
Yes Wayne this is a banging track very funky but it's got an electronic edge, yes bro I was getting down to it, the industrial style can so easily be adapted I can pop lock and mime to this as well as funk itup to the chirpy parts
Thanks! Yeah, there's a lot of different sounds going on, many instances where it reminds you of some genre or style at that very moment. Just playing with some different sounds other than my acoustic.

Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Real acoustic, electric and bass guitars played by me. Drums are loops and programmed MIDI. Played piano and synths. Lots of layers and delay. A gated moog, organ, my recorded finger-snaps and a reversed bass guitar effect that sounds like throat-singing. Three movements, divided by moments of calm. Thoughts and feedback are welcome.
Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
Description : A moroccan traditional song from 70s titled "Toudart" which means "Life" in Moroccan berber/Tamazight, revived and composed in a modern way, I used minor2go's piano loop which you can hear on the background, everything elese is from me.

Got lucky finding some loops that all worked together and allowed me to create something a little different from my usual stuff.

That's what I like about it too, kinda in your face.
