Description : This here is about the third iteration of this song, so it's an evolution of sorts. Watch out, it's pretty funky featuring bassist extraordinaire MonoNeon. So sit back, grab whatever you like to eat or drink and come on a funky and jazzy journey with me! ENJOY.

Always nice to revisit a great tune. So I took your Advice and I am Drinking a Quebec beer called Eau Benite (Holy Water) @ 7.7% not so Holy ehh. this has got me in a good mood. I promised myself to listen to this as a fan and not as an objective musician so I could just enjoy it. And enjoy it Did mate! Always a pleasure. (that pick guitar is freaking awesome as I'm bobbing to the beat giving that sneer one gives when the music cuts!
Whats good Steven? Its great you stopped through once again. You got me good with the 7.7 percent by content LOL. Objectivity in listening to music can produce some amazing findings. Its like a treasure hunt. I appreciate that point along with your huge compliments. Peace.
loftier. Greetings your stop is appreciated. Yes this is my creation writing and arranging using midi instruments and brass loops to get this one done. Thank you for the listen and comments. Peace.
Hi Mark,
My dear friend, it's great to have you here and listen to your AMAZING! music once more, you/music were missed around here adding that touch of class. I hope you're doing well. Your music always brings so much joy! to my little ears, luv the sound of this
jazz/funk masterpiece by you a real treasure hearing it again. Keep up the awesome work and stay safe.
Hey Angelus. Long time no talk 2. Thanks a bunch for gracing the place with your presence and kind comments. Ive been doing fine. So on on your latest track you reached, grabbed, and owned it. Amazing how well rounded you are with your vocal artistry. Very well done my friend. We must get caught up soon. Be safe.
Hey Mark, what can I say that hasn't already been said? You're obviously The Man! Everything works so well with this track, I also like your production / mixing skills ie: the clarity. At about 5:40 of the track I really like how you pushed the keyboards, horns & bass up in the mix. But the clarity of the mix just gives the song a whole new dimension. I'm sure I've said this before but you're certainly one of my favorite artist here on this platform, again great work and a wonderful track my friend.
Alright "D"! I'm very appreciative for the stop, listen, reaction, and FAVE. The comments you gave are huge and received humbly. I'm ecstatic you found this listen a worthwhile one. I try to keep everything balanced out and the listener totally engaged. You mentioned earlier about your project in the works. I'm on the edge of my seat for that one. Knowing you ..........IT'S KILLER! Be sure to be safe and have a great week, my friend. Peace.
Last one for today listening to this SERIOUS TALENT. You know the Bass intro hooked me! I gotta get back to work. This is a serious tune. Enjoyed!! Fila
Fila, yep I'm a drummer with serious bass envy LOL! I just can't get enough bass in my musical diet. Doc said I got a bass deficiency so I go and do something like this! Glad you like this one as well. Thanks for checking this one out. Peace.

Angelus, again that's exactly the in-depth feedback I needed. Good looking out. I didn't even notice that conflict until you pointed it out. Thanks again. TTYL.

Flipping hell this is out of sight! super fly! what a little energetic piece this is WOW! this is a MAGNIFICENT!! composition right here & I'm right at home with listening to this outstanding piece of FUNK Heaven. Bravo! tapping the like tab while dancing out!
Angelus, the house rule is "Funky Is Law" :).I'm glad this too was a good listen that got you going for sure. Also thank you for your time and gracious fave too. Don't blink more is on the way. You be and stay safe friend :)
M.T.
Snelkku, greetings, honestly for you to step outside of your favorite genre to listen here is of epic proportion. Thanks for that generous compliment. Thanks for your time. Stay Safe.

77, Nothin but fire here. Everything fits. Keyboard solos are off the hook. Crispy bass and horns, the kind I like. Thanks for the motivation player. PEACE. T576 OUT.
T576. for me to whip up the kind of funk you like ain't nothing but payback! Yep, I went through your music and you've got that funk and smooth jazz that's unlawful! I'm only humbled by your comments and I sincerely appreciate you taking the time out for a listen. Peace
M.T.
JackLake, greetings. I’m glad you’ve stopped to listen and comment. Agreed there’s absolutely nothing like a good bass line. Stay tuned for more!
M.T.
BONEZONMARZ, Thank you, that's a humbling compliment. Your work is very impressive. I appreciate you letting me know this listen was a good one for you. Be safe.

It's strange, after using your content in the past I've programmed myself to hear the parts I arranged in remixes, so listening to it now feels like a remix, even though I didn't write it :D
Excellent of course. I don't remember that brief reverb drenched guitar in the original content, but I could've just forgot. Sax gets down pretty good. I like those high notes in succession. Also I think I'm hearing some new harmony (am I incorrect?). The flute part is my favorite (it's what's making "markenstein" get those likes).
Obviously keep it up, we could all use more music education.
bringer, Thank you for your listen, comments, and most of all your support. And you noticed all the subtle changes (I just can't leave well enough alone). As soon as I add the drums and bass to your 3 tracks, I'm feeling another BOD-Jynxz-kingmt77 collaboration coming soon.
M.T.
Hey Mark this is still a blinding listen, it's so nice to here a mix with so many instruments complimenting each other, but what I particularly like is that at some point each instrument gets a solo spot at the same time as being accompanied it really is great sounding funk
Paul, I’m always honored to have you to stop in and check out what’s happening. Thanks for your gracious presence and kind comments. Have a good one my friend.

Awesome intro, is those Nylon strings on that bass? Great Mix. Love the elec piano solo. cool reverb VST effect. Some serious sax sounds. All in all awesome work mate as usual.
crucethus, thank you much for listening and commenting. The bass was played thru a Digitech Whammy pedal, a beast in pitch bending and harmony shifting effects. The reverb I used is Valhalla Vintage Verb. Take it easy. M.T.
Hey Mark this is super I was jumping into the dimension of Glen Miller who just happened to have Wes Montgomery,Dizzy Gillespie and James Brown in the band now that would have been one helluva lineup. Slinky is wearing Minky bravo sir :) Robbie
Robbie, the musicians you mentioned are the heavy hitters I listened to growing up. It's awesome this was a good listen for you. Thank you for stopping by and your kind feedback. Be safe.

AtticElla, for this piece to be enjoyable for you means everything to me. It would be great to talk about the process as you are using Ableton Live like me. Thanks for your listen and your kind comments. Also thanks for looking out for me on my comment for "Your Face". You are correct, I'm new at this particular style of house and now I get it. That being said I now have a gauge to go by and you captured the key ingredients for a chill house vibe. Be safe and be cool always.
aerotopiaDCA, it's good to know that you enjoyed this to the point of laughter! I laughed thru composing and mixing this song. Thank you for your positive feedback
Paz y salud.
HaHa, Jynxz! Do you remember the first draft and all of the others after? Clearing out some obsolete files I found 15.als files with an average of about 17 tracks each! I mentioned to Bringer that it's a good thing that we're not paying for studio time or else the books would be drenched in red ink LOL! thanks for your feedback and next time I'll give a fair warning so you can break out those Depends! Be safe.
Awh, I always loved songs like this... I'll never know how do people play bass like this lmao it's just awesome... I imagine this track being played in a coffee shop
MrRivus, thank you for listening and your kind comments. This started differently and after many edits and much rearranging it's become what it is today. I agree with you on the coffee shop idea.Be safe.
Haha xstokes, thanks for listening in. I tend to write funky, pieces to deal with writer's block. After I wrestled with this piece my creativity went off the chain. I greatly appreciated your kind words.
Hey King, 3 in 3 days, you are a funky jazz monster, another really good listen, I'm normally a 3 min man, I'm a Street dancer so like variety but your funk keeps me listening, like my friend he's drum and bass does some really long pieces like 9 mins, but because he's now adding liquid parts the changes keep me listening, also notice your a fan of Herbie Hancock, I danced to his stuff growing up another good listen
Description : 'Love will find you at the right time'...This track is about how we vibrationally attract love. From my recollection, in the early 20s/teen years, a typical place to encounter this wonderful force was the Disco. (Kay)
'I always wanted to produce a funk and soul song, as I love the rhythms and vibe. I hope you like my first attempt at this. Many thanks to Darren Hirst for his great bassline' - Oli.

Description : This is kinda like a funky electro acoustic type thing. Definitely our funkiest piece yet, trying to explore a few different genres here, hopefully you enjoy it! :)

Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.

Description : A Dark Funk tune , with a touch of Nawlin's jazz funeral procession. Midi-sparks asked me to do a Halloween song for his competition, and so here it is!
Description : Updated 12/2/2022. This is an interesting redo of a funky and fun composition. I gave it more polish by switching to a different drum kit, swapped the flute solo for a synth, then infused more flavor into the guitars, bass and organ. Then lastly tweaking the final master. Can you tell the difference? Let me know. Enjoy.
Description : This is the first production for STAR TRAVELS in collaboration between MICKY (LM) and JYNXZ (LM).
Micky: concept / arrangement / guitars / synths / fx / vocals / mix / mastering
Jynxz: synths / bass / rhodes / clavinet
Description : Everything is recorded live, so you probably hear that. It's also all me :$
Thanks to everyone who contributed in explaining what I did wrong in the engineering, mixing and mastering, especially Ben (bringerofDOOM). Looperman is truly an awesome community and thank you all. Did I say you guys are awesome?
