Description : When I finished this track, the sound of it reminded of cruising through downtown Chicago at 2 or 3 in the morning after practicing all night. The memory of the music echoing off the skyscrapers seems like it was only yesterday (1975). When I finished the track, I asked Mark to do the Drums and of course he showed up and blew up as he’s known to do. He also Mastered the track.
PEACE...

Amazing work. You can't go wrong with MT. He's an extraordinary artist and drummer. This was very well put together. Excellent mix and master. PEACE T576 OUT.
What's up T576,
It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since Mark and I did this track. It was a great oppourtunity for me to get a chance to work with Mark again.
I really appreciate your taking the time out to stop by and
give the track a listen as well as comment.
Encouragement from fellow LMers (musicians) is always a great boost to my morale. Sometimes you wonder if anybody is hearing what you have to say (musically).
Hey dude! as usual...Very Pro!excellent drum part! maybe (on my listening) review the sound of the bass, I think I hear "slap" at the end, I can't really "find out" the bass part in the whole piece! maybe also my ears! !!!!!
good job guy!
Hey Man! Been away from LM for a while but had to stop and check in to see if you had anything new! And not only is the answer to that yes, it's a collab between two of the most outstanding people on this site! F*ck yeah!
You two meld so well together! Not to mention I was picturing a night cityscape full of neon lights even before I read your description of the song, so you definitely hit the nail on the head with this one. As usual your synth lead was pitch perfect but I think my favorite part was around 2:23 when Mark is going nuts on kick and you just kept the e-piano, bass and pads going underneath it. It's almost like the car is stopping and spinning around for minute before continuing on its way. Awesome effect!
Mark is the reason I started playing from back when we were in high school. He was already an accomplished Drummer in the Concert Band as well as a Band him and a couple of friends put together.
I always enjoy doing tracks with him.
Were it not for DAW's and platforms like LM we probably wouldn't have done any more music together. We've been trying very hard for the last couple of years to get the bass player up to speed with the latest technology, sadly our lead singer passed away a few years ago.
Thank you for stopping by and giving our track a listen and for the encouraging comments.
That's absolutely stunning. Hats off to Mark, but also especially to your keys, and maybe for the bass playing? that shows up really well too! Good track man!
Mark started me out on my musical journey(back in the day).
The composition, Synth (playing) and arrangement are all me,
altho I don't coubt that Mark optimized some of the timings during his Mastering of the track.
Thanks for giving the track a listen and encouraging comments.
It's good to see you back on LM. You were here jammin when I first joined this great music community.
Wow... When I started LM and using DAW's 3 years ago,
you were one of my Gold standards in music production.
So to get a "Fave" from you means a lot to me.
I can't speak for Mark but, I'm sure he would be very interested in doing a jam session with you. IJS...
Thanks for giving the track a listen, Fave and encouraging comments.
Chicago, sigh. It's been 1993 since I have been there. I think You captured it. And you have such talented production help. I love that percussion at 2:13 on. Amazing song and sound, well-done mate!
Beautiful work Jynxz - very cinematic feel to these ears - can really imagine that drive through the city late at night. A real lovely space in the mix, and of course brilliant musicianship too : )
It's kinda funny how the feeling dawned on me after I wrote the track and listened to it and it brought back memories of
being in that downtown atmosphere listening to music that meant everything to me at the time. Plus being with Mark and the other band members we were like family (still are). Living life to it's fullest.
Thanks for giving our track a listen, comments and for the Fave. It's very encouraging.
you painted a nice setting to listen to this masterpiece i ended up heading back tp my cave standing at the entrance tapping my toe and bobbing my head very cool track to listen to on here.
great work guys.
Mark put the icing on the cake on this one.
I felt that since we had shared the experience
together as a band (back in the day) he would be
totally on the same page and, he was. I couldn't
have written the Drum track that Mark did on this
track. We had a great time writing it.
Thanks for giving the track a listen, encouraging comments
and for the Fave.
I know you're no stranger to the feeling after pulling an all-nighter playing with the band.
We'd practice at Mark's house almost all night, then we;
(Hamp-Vocals RIP) (Big Ant-Bass) (Mark- Drums) and myself (just starting out on Keys). We'd get in Marks car, that had a monster stereo, and we'd cruise Downtown until the sun came up listening to Tower of Power/Return to forever/Graham Central station or whoever we were into at the time. Those were the best times of my life.
Sorry for being so wordy (2nd cup of coffee)lol
Thanks for stopping by and giving the track a listen
and for the encouraging comments.
Robbie, wow man your description is perfect, you could actually change Chicago to any sprawling metropolis, the drums are sumptuous as is the music production is sublime congrats defo fav
Thanks for giving my track a listen and for the Fave.
I wish I had the gift of lyrics ( like you) to properly describe the feeling I get when I think about the old days with music,
It's a great feeling. I'm glad there is a place where I can
share those feelings so that they never die.
PEACE...

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : It is an elegy, in a modern world. There is fuss and there are sentiments. All together create a scenery where life takes place.
I really hope you like it.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Messing around with my midi keyboard (I am no pianist as you will hear). Just a bunch ideas put together with guitar and keys. Don't miss the end :-) it shows the obvious lack of inspiration to find a decent ending of the so called musician! This track is work in progress all ideas are welcome!

At first I read "1933", I was going to say "Damn, you're really old). Then I saw "1993" and I said "Damn I'm really old). LOL.
I tell Mark all the time he sounds just like he's playing a real Drum set. There is no difference between what he does live or in a DAW. He's amazing.
Thanks for stopping by and giving the track a listen and for the encouraging comments.
Hope we didn't disappoint you.
